Disappointed
To say I am disappointed in the new brand of cold gear basewear will be a big understatement.
I bought some of the new Base 2.0 to replace old ones (the ones with the wafer interior) I bought some years ago that had served me very well.
I received the new ones yesterday and tried out a pair today at -25°C in Saskatchewan.
The first thing I observed was the sting of the cold on my legs when I stepped out. It seemed like I had only my jeans on. I never felt such cold at even colder temperatures with the old Base 2.0.
It's a shame, really, to replace what really worked with this. You can hardly tell the difference in texture between the new Base 2.0 and the new 4.0, and I won't be surprised if the 4.0 doesn't hold a candle to the old 2.0.
I've already called customer service to complain. Sending them back ASAP. I'm even more disappointed that I can't return the one I wore today. Maybe I'll use them as underwear in the summer....yes, seriously. This is a very disappointed former customer.

Not near as warm or fitting
I have the previous version of 2.0 gear. This top is very loose fitting. It does not compress against your body like the previous version that I have. Also the inside feels just like the outside and does not have the warm cotton inner layer like previous version

As usual this Base layer 2.0 is exceptional.
Each of the Cold Gear Base Layers, base layer, base layer 2.0 and base layer 3.0 are great. I have worn each of them, original base layer on days at abour 50 degrees, base layer 2.0 while doing winter sports with temps above 32 degrees and base layer 3.0 for days that are cold and damp at 32 degrees to negative temps. Haven't needed the 4.0 yet. These are very comfortable and keep you warm.

Good product, looking for something warmer.
I liked this product, but I was searching for something warmer, exchanged it for a 3.0, going to try that. This was advertised for "cold weather" but the box it came in said "cool weather". It would be helpful for Under Armor to post a temperature range of cool, cold, and extreme cold, as this is a matter of opinion. I would consider cold to be 30-10 degrees Fahrenheit, I'm sure there are people who would call that extreme cold. This product wasn't warm enough for 30-10 degrees, but would be good for say 40-30. Good shirt, just misleading how warm it was to me anyway, going to get the next warmer version.

Great product
The shirts are great. The boxers not so much. The elastic waist band doesn't hold up. It rolls, wrinkles and curls up. The Men's UA Tech? 3" Boxerjock®

Very warm
Great fit and very comfortable. Very warm when out in the elements but not too hot while working inside. Would definitely buy another one.

Great product
Heavy durable material for my kids to have under their football gear during cold practices. Also great for skiing for myself and my kids.
It's what my friend wanted
I have the Base 4.0 crew shirt and like it. I wanted a lighter one for mild weather use.
