While in Norway, I put about 40 miles on the boots. The weather was wet and snowy with temps typically around 0-5 degrees Fahrenheit. They kept my feet warm and dry and were quite stable in slippery conditions. I had only one experience where my feet froze. We were on a boat in some harsh conditions. My toes were frozen! I think it was mostly due to them being warm and becoming damp. Then with lack of movement around the boat, my feet were able to become cold.
Overall, I've been very happy with this purchase and have easily put an additional 20 miles on them. I would definitely recommend them. Possibly buy a half size larger than you normally where for typical shoes.
Cons
Good warmth for low temperature , waterproof, fit and comfort
Pros
It's side rubber wall is weak and any sharp edge item can penetrate leaving empty hole especially when hiking.
Won't recommend it for mud areas.
