These boots fit like a pair of vans that you would expect . but they are a little tight for a boot , with a thicker sock it would be uncomfortable .. tight feet and a poor fit in winter = no good for me .. Im a size 11.5 and I'm ordering the size 12 so I have a little wiggle room with winter socks . If you like a nice tight fit and you live in milder climate then the northeast your regular size may work for you . But if you like winter socks and warm feet and a little wiggle room go up a half size

I was excited to get these boots. They are beautiful, but uncomfortable. I'm a solid size 7, but my toe goes right to the end; I'd need a 7 1/2, maybe even an 8. I'm not going to exchange sizes because they are uncomfortable in the ankle making me feel like I have to stand forward instead of straight up. I needed these to be comfortable in every way to keep so sadly, I'm returning them.

I bought these shows November 2021. These are my every day shoes. I wore them from Winter all the way through Summer. These shoes are comfortable. Here's the problem, both shoes are splitting in the top with the left one being worse. This ruins any waterproofint they had and there is no fixing them. These shoes also lack a protector for the back of the feet so when they rub, they make your ankle raw. The other Vans I have do not have these problems. I was going to see about a warranty because of the shoes splitting not even a year later. For shoes that are over $100, they do not have the $100 quality.

Bought these bad boys in November. Once I broke them in, they quickly became my everyday shoe. I live in a wet & cold, sometimes snowy beach town in the Northeast and needed a winter boot that was lightweight and cute enough to wear everyday without killing my knees. LL Bean boots were the only things that kept my feet warm but dang are they heavy and cumbersome. These MTEs are it! Toasty feet, cute kicks, comfortable for every day/all day wear.

Until late January when we got some real snow and I noticed that there seemed to be a leak. Prior to this snowstorm, I've only worn these shoes in light rain and cold days. With actual snow on the ground, there seemed to be a leak from one of the seams, as the insoles were completely soaked after a few hours outside. I thought maybe snow was creeping in via ankles or something, but everywhere in my boot was dry except the bottoms of my feet and insoles.

Hoping this is a one-off issue and not a recurring one - customer service hooked me up and I'm trying a second pair.

All in all, I'd recommend these. People complain about the stiffness in the ankles, I don't see it as much of an issue. It is a snowboot, after all. It's not going to be as flexible as a normal shoe. I'm between a 7 and 7.5 in Women's... got the 7.5 to make room for thick socks.

I love the look and style - it's not really a shoe but not really a boot, which makes for winter daily wear great! Order 1/2 size up for thicker socks. The back of the boot does slightly tilt forward into my leg when standing/sitting. When walking, it's comfortable! Keep feet dry, warm and look good while doing it!

Size half size up they run small I will be returning my 8.5 for a 9

I'm an RV & motorhomes salesman. I walk around a big parking lot in New Hampshire with 5 inches of snow at most in the ground. I step into campers, I step out of campers, I walk around a lot . So If your physical expected activity with these breaches beyond that output I'd reconsider. Super Unimpressed

About half/full size smaller than average Vans.

I have owned these for 3 weeks and a day. Best shoes I've ever owned. My feet stay warm in the winter without the need for anything other than simple socks. Water, mud, and the sand dunes... Nothing gets in them. Well, today I noticed the toe caps on both shoes is unthreading. I haven't run into any issues with the elements yet, and I may not, however a consistent and repeatable defect won't be a recommended product for me. Even so, I can't wait for the next version!

These are very fashion forward, warm, comfy and perfect for winter. They are a Christmas Gift and they look so great in person, even better than online!
