This is my second pair of duck boots from sorel. My first pair were so comfortable and lasted through harsh wear, so I decided to replace them with the same brand.

Some changes were made to their design and they showed up today. Sadly some quality in the workmanship has decreased. They cost me more this year, so I expected the quality to remain equally as high as the previous pair.

First, I noticed the bottom rubber was simply "messy". The border of the wavy design isn't as photographed; it is sloppy. I understand this won't be seen much, but still.

Secondly, and much more visible, is the fold contecting the shoe's "tongue". It sticks out and is obvious because it is a different color. I thought, "Maybe when I try it on, it won't show". Nope. Still sticks out.

Third, the cuts and stitching were, overall, more messy on this pair.

I hate to see companies build rapport with a few batches of quality, then just cut that quality out later.

Super cute! Comfy, however if you want to be able to wiggle your toes, make sure to size up half a size.

I just got mine and I cannot wait to rock these babies on the road. It looks really nice and very comfortable. The leather needs a little bit of breaking. I do recommend wearing a higher sock compared to an ankle one if you just got it. I?m normally a size 7 and I got a 7.5 and I?m glad I did. Super light weight, I don?t feel like I?m wearing anything on my feet at all! Highly recommended.

I ordered the Elk color and they are true to what is pictured. Also, I?m usually a 5.5 or 6 shoe size. I ordered the 6 and they fit great. I do have slightly narrow feet so there is a little extra room width wise My only complaint for these shoes is there isn?t any cousin inside the bottom of the shoe what so ever. I needed something to keep my feet warmer in the fall instead of drafty sneakers. They absolutely kept my feet warm today wearing them for the first time in colder weather. But walking around in them you can feel every bit of the ground you?re walking on. I bought inserts to make the inside of the shoe more comfortable and that did the trick.

These shoes are great for fall/winter. Can't wait to try them out in the snow with thick socks! I normally wear a 6.5, but bought a 7 with these. Got them in the "Major", the color is very true to the photo above.

It is a cute shoe, but they are poorly made. I had the shoes for only 8 days before they fell apart. Honestly...... I thought customer service would Rectify the problem, but Absolutely not! Horrible customer service.

I want to start with I absolutely loved my out n abouts. I bought the previous model about two and a half years ago. Used them on walls when the weather was crummy in the fall and winter and stopped then the rest of the year. They already have a hole in the sole. I didn't hike or do anything crazy in them. I contacted customer service and they said that's normal wear and tear. I think that's ridiculous I have shoes I wear much more frequently that cost the same or less that lasted much much longer. Love these boots but not worth the money.

First, from a style and got perspective I absolutely love these boots! I wore them everyday for two seasons (Spring/Fall). Just over a year in I noticed the glue binding the rubber to the leather was gapping in some spots. Now two months later, the rubber sole is almost completely separated from the leather boot. When I first noticed this I went on Sorel?s website to contact customer service. Given the boots we?re past the year mark the form told me they were out of warranty. I considered sending them back, but shipping was going to cost ~$40 and I couldn?t justify it if the response was to not fix the boots, and I?d have to pay again to get them back.

All in all extremely disappointing from a quality and service perspective. Have been a Sorel customer for years but won?t be supporting the brand further.

Do better.

I've been very dedicated to Sorel for years, but I just can't wear these shoes..

They run slightly small.

While they are cute, you can feel every little thing when walking down the street in them. When you're paying so much for a shoe you would hope it would have some sort of foot cushion. If I had the chance to wear them in store before purchase I wouldn't pay more than $50 for them.

I have purchased 3 pairs of these. Two last season and one the end of September.

I wear these for work so they do get worn.

I live in Seattle so they are great for the rain!

Not just casually.

All 3 wore holes in the heels.

I love these boots.

They are cute and not heavy rain boots.

I wish the soles were not so thin.
