Overall very happy - goggle bag is lacking.
I picked up a pair last week at a local ski shop. Here are my initial thoughts:

They have a great field of view, are stylish, easy lens changing, and are generally just well built. The Chromapop technology is top-of-the-line and you will never have a problem with visibility considering you have two lens options to chose from. The only con to me is that Smith has decided to include a bag that barely fits the goggles and extra pair of lenses. It would have been great if they included either a carry case or just made the goggle bag bigger (I am assuming that they didn't size up the bag and are using the same bag for all goggle models). Overall, the goggles are five-star (by far the best goggles money can buy), but the bag knocks one-star off my rating because it is such an obvious oversight.

The Cody Townsend model is also awesome - I was unsure about the color based on the website photos, but in-person, the strap is more of an army green than it shows on the website.

The XL model will probably fit most peoples' face better than the standard version. I would lean towards the XL version unless you

Overall great fit minus the goggle bag
Very happy with the construction and fit of these goggles, the magnet system is one of the easiest and quickest to work when needing to replace lens. Field of vision is greatly improved with these goggles as well. The goggles appearance, style and performance are 5 stars but the oversight of the subpar size of the goggle bag that will not fit both the goggles and the extra pair of lens, for the price of these you would think they would provide something adequate enough to protect both a for thndat I have knocked a star off on the overall review score.

Fantastic goggles: incredible vision and no fog in the worst conditions.
These are the best goggles I have ever used. The lens clarity is fantastic, I can see peripherally with no frame interference and the lens does not fog. Even when going in and out of a helicopter. I was torn between the regular IO Mag and the XL, and chose the XL for better coverage. I don't have a huge face, in fact my helmet is a Medium Vantage, but the goggles fit perfectly. Changing the lenses is easy and I don't worry about the lens popping out after a wipe out like some of the mag lenses.

This work great with the PivLock prescription lens
I picked these up to try out the Pivlock lens, getting older sucks as your vision goes. these were awesome. no need to fiddle with glasses under the goggle, they didn't fog. I could see the contrast of the ground in front of me with the chromaPop lens. very comfortable material. I too would like bigger bag as I'm worried about scratching the extra lens on them. I've even gotten a pair for my wife, I liked them so well.

Awesome, versatile lenses/goggles with great FOV
I picked these up this season as a replacement for some 2-3yo I/Os that I've always liked but thought I purchased a size too small. I run an XL helmet and the side-to-side fit wasn't quite right on the old goggles, lots of air coming through either side. These new I/O Mag XL's are great so far. Excellent FOV and the "fill" the gap on either side better. The mag attachment is bomber. I have zero worries I'll lose a lens. I'm patrol at my local mountain and low light lenses are great for end of day sweep when the light is getting low up here near 49degrees N where it gets dark early in the beginning of the season. Somehow, magically, the low light lenses seem to brighten up reality! Great lenses, cool look.

Works well together and looks good too
I just received these blackouts since I've been waiting 2 years to get them before they sell out (which they always do)
I got the Level MIPS (XL) I have a 7.75 head that is fairly oval in shape and these two go very well together. Can't wait for ski season.
Just wish they made a hard case to store the goggles and several extra lenses.

comfortable over eyeglasses and crystal clear view
Wore these last weekend on a very foggy day. Mountain was making snow and it was also snowing lightly, so between the fog and snow it was quite difficult to see, however these goggles (using rose lens) were great. They were comfortable over my eyeglasses, and for most of the day did a good job of keeping themselves and my glasses from fogging up. A couple times my eyes watered and eyeglasses did steam a bit, but when worn without eyeglasses there was no fogging up. Really like them. Pretty expensive to be sure, and for the price, as others have noted, a better bag or case should be provided. Extremely difficult if not impossible to fit goggles in bag along with the additional lens.

Warranty replacement
These were a warranty replacement to my IO mags, due to a broken strap clip. This time, however, I ordered the XL's and they fit my face and helmet way better. No more goggle gap between my Smith Vantage helmet (size L). Field of view has increased with the XL size lens. I like how the magnet technology has improved a bit, as it is quite easier to switch lens out. Additionally, the visibility is crisp and brilliant in all conditions - Sunny to overcast, with the Everyday Green lens.
