The Smith Wildcat sunglasses have great performance features, for example the chromopop lenses are awesome. However I was very disappointed with the durability. One of the arms broke right at the pivot on one side after barely three months of use. I can't help but feel like these were designed to look cool rather than to perform to outdoor professional standards. Had I known the life I would get out of them, I would have gone to grab two or three pairs of cheap glasses.

Owned these for only a few months before they broke. The material seems cheap and the design flawed. There seems to be a weak spot in the arms where they taper and are covered by the anti slip rubber. I forgot they were on my cycling helmet and when I removed my helmet they fell from about three feet and both arms broke in the same spot upon impact. The rubber kept them somewhat attached but they were clearly broken underneath. Seems pretty weak for a $225 pair of sunglasses made for active sports like MTB, road cycling and skiing. I would not buy again and makes me question the quality and durability of Smith sunglasses. The frames in general just look and feel cheap as well.

Very weak and not durable
I recently purchased the Wildcat sunglasses, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. They broke within the first few weeks of having them. The temples are made very weak, and when I reached out to the company, they refused to cover any warranty on this already weakened part. I will definitely never purchase from them again.
On top of that, their customer service is painfully slow to respond, and there's no way to contact them by phone. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Save your money and look elsewhere!

Workhorse eyewear for days on the trail.
Wildcats are where it's at for all conditions bike fun. Great MTB glasses for trail ride days, with solid coverage to protect your eyes from fun-flung dirt, mud, rocks, etc. Cool on the beach too. The Chromapop PhotoChromic lens offers the ultimate setup for most days when it comes to in and out of the sun and trees, mountain type riding.

Pretty terrible. Earpiece broke on the third day. Snapped right at the hinge. Smith would not honor under warranty. Pretty weak honestly. I asked if they would send me replacement piece so I could fix myself and they wouldn't even do that. Zero stars

A great addition to my collection of Smith sunglasses. I bought the Wilcats because I wanted a little more coverage while mountain biking. These glasses fit great and stay put when descending on bumpy trails. I bought the photochromic lens in addition to low light rose blue and like both for different types of rides. Highly recommend!

Perfect for Gravel and MTB
Build quality and comfort is amazing! I wear these cycling mainly at night or early morning. Great for gravel and MTB. Protection is great & deflects bugs wonderfully! Love these glasses!

Unfortunately the frame design is very weak. One of the hinges broke while putting the glasses into the bag. Beware there is no option to get replacement frames and customer service does not want to even discuss concerns with you. After using Smith products for years and spending thousands of dollars with the company for all sorts of products (helmets, goggles, glasses, etc. ), I will be shopping elsewhere for future purchases with companies that will stand behind their products. Buyer beware.
