I love all of the other flavors and continue to use them consistently, but there is something in the mango one that caused my lips to swell and burn like they had been sunburned. And it lasted over a week with just 1 use. This has happened to me twice because I forgot which flavor it was and ended up buying it again. I thought it might have been a fluke on the first one but when it happened the second time I knew it was the mango. It's really odd that its just the one flavor. There must be a particular ingredient that causes the reaction although I compared the ingredients with the other flavors and they are all the same. So it has to be whatever they use to get the mango flavor.

I bought this because I like mango scent and also because of it's seemingly safe & natural ingredients. Unfortunately, my lips reacted in a very bad way. I look like I had lip injections, and they are itchy and dry even if i apply honey and aloe, the effect lasted a week. They may be due to the first few ingredients: Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octinoxate, Octisalate, Adipic Acid / Diglycol Crosspolymer. When I use another lip balm with Zinc Oxide as active ingredient, I don't have the same reaction--the only downside is it kind of leaves a white cast. But i'd rather use that than suffering with the bad lip reaction. Sun bum, please change your active ingredients to safer ones.

While I liked the mango flavor and liked that it seemed to be eco friendly/vegan, etc, I had a horrible allergic reaction to this lip balm. My lips became severely chapped and inflamed, taking over two weeks to heal each time I tried this stuff. Finally, through elimination, I’ve determined this one’s the source of my seemingly chronic chapped lips. I had to give it up unfortunately. Won’t buy again.

Bought a tube a few days ago and started having an allergic reaction. Didn't realize it was the lip balm until today, every time I put it on it got worse. Kept applying thinking it would help my dry lips. My lips are in so much pain. Hugely swollen and itchy. I'm just stunned to see that so many people are also experiencing this, yet the product hasn't been recalled yet.

I bought this particular version of this lip balm because I love mango and wanted something good for my lips. I used it this past Friday after picking my niece up from college, and my lips swole up along with me breaking out in hives on my face! I have never had an allergic reaction to anything, and I definitely have never broke out in hives. It was terrible! The hives went away after an hour, but the swelling in my lips took two days and constant application of Vaseline along with some allergy medicine to get them down. The skin on my lips was super dry, and my bottom lip had busted from the swelling. I don?t know what is in this, but I will never use this again.

I?ve used other flavors for years and never had an issue until I used mango. I feel like I had lip injections, I am completely swollen, dry, chapped. There is something in this formula that is not in others and this product should be recalled. Do not purchase!

I liked the way it applied and the scent but hours after applying my lips were so red and swollen!!!! I immediately threw the chapstick away. I?ve never had an allergic reaction in my life. Would not recommend!

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I was so excited to try a new lip balm, especially one with SPF for the summer and I've always heard good things about Sun Bum, but this product has given me the worst allergic reaction. On the packaging itself, it says "Trust The Bum" - how ironic is this! I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Sun Bum usually has good products, but this Mango Lip Sunscreen needs to be recalled. I have used this one twice, the first time in July not knowing the reaction was caused by it....then used it again this past Monday. Within a few hours, lips starting itching, red and irritated, then came the pain, and blisters along with scaliness...my lip actually feels like it has its own pulse! Its been 5 days, and hasn't gotten any better. And, it looks....terrible. I look like a sad clown that had a bad lip job. I was astonished how many other reviews say they exact same thing, on here, Google and on Amazon. I would appreciate a representative to reach out to me regarding this.

Do not buy this product! It should be recalled. I have a referral to see a dermatologist now. Thank God for masks so I can hide my face while this heals. Some time after I apply this product, my skin will burn and then start flaking. It?s disgusting and humiliating.
