Designed to be 20% lighter and more breathable than the Krar and Howe Vests, the Pinnacle series fits like a second-skin and adds two new kangaroo pockets to the collection of smart storage spaces. Designed to keep you moving in total comfort, this vest is lightweight, breathable and features tapered back panels to keep the moisture out. Its new enhanced shape boasts a slightly longer back for efficient, dispersed capacity. With just the right chafe-free fit and form, it's the perfect race day vest! Thoughtful storage is always in reach including two new Kangaroo pockets allowing one side entry access point and a vertical pocket for larger items like trekking poles. Two water-resistant pockets are included on the chest for phone and a pill pocket complete with whistle. Side pockets allow for easy access to larger items and smaller things like keys and nutrition.

Wish it had worked
I like the fit of this pack but I tried two of them and the seams on the front chest pocket unraveled after only a few runs. I wish they could have been made better but had to send both back.

Best Nathan vest yet
This is the best fitting vest Nathan has come out with. The snug fit is great to reduce the bounce you normally get with 20oz bottles in the front pockets (if you are in between sizes, go down not up. Wore this for a 100 miler and would forget I had it on. Easy to access poles from the top and the lower access pockets are great to get your essentials without having to take your vest off. The material is soft and comfortable. I was even able to run the last 16 shirtless in the Arizona heat, which I can never do without chaffing. This is a ultralight vest that is great for racing but don't expect it to be the durable workhorse some of the heavier weight fabric vest are. Nailed it with this one.

Great Pack for Texas Heat
Great product, I'm all about running with no shirt and this is as close as it gets if you still need to haul hydration and calories. I'm in Texas and it's hot.
My one gripe is the front bottle holder materials start tearing away from the seams? won't hold the bottles for much longer? I'll need to stitch them soon.

Some issues, but otherwise so-far-so-good
This was a gift and is the first running vest I have owned. The vest is heavy in front when both bottles are full of water, which causes the pack to move around a bunch unless the front straps are tightened a bunch. Unfortunately, tightening the front straps made it a little difficult to breathe at points during my run. Once I drank some of the water, it wasn't so bad. Overall, I really like the product!

Decent vest poor bottle arrival.
Overall it does what it should. Very snug but needs to be. Needs a bit more room for larger people but at 6'2" 220 pounds straps are all the way out. Would like a bit more. However the lose of a star was the leaky bottle it shipped with. Reached out to customer service and ghosted. Need replacement but won't answer.

Poor Fit Guide, Even Poorer Customer Service
I ordered the Pinnacle 4 Liter Hydration Vest for an 50 mile race I have coming up in a week. While I was hoping to receive it early to train in it, I received the order exactly 10 business days after ordering it, which is the max timeframe Nathan provides. I really like the vest feel and look, but it turned out to be too small for me where I cannot even strap the bottom clip, even though I went exactly based on the size guide provided online. A medium will hopefully work much better, but definitely size up a bit if you go based solely on the fit guide.
The sizing aside, I emailed Customer Service the day I received the order and asked for an expedited exchange due to the fact I have a race coming up next week and want to use it. It has been multiple days with no response, and I have sent multiple follow up emails to no avail. If you can avoid it, don't use Nathan just so you don't have to deal with their seemingly nonexistent customer service team.

Functional/front bottles
Great, light-weight vest with two bottles and multiple pockets in front. There is an optional back bladder, or use the separated compartments for additional storage. High quality!

Bad bottles
The pack is great! The bottles have the hardest lids to put on. Like it's a struggle for me to put the lids on without spilling water/mix everywhere. I thought it was just me, but even race volunteers ask for me to put the lid on the bottles because they can't get them on. Once lids on are, bottles are good.

Good enough hydro vest
It took almost 3 weeks from purchase to arrive. In which I missed the widow for using it for my race. I ran 15 miles in it for a long run last weekend, I did feel bouncy/unsecure especially after drinking the water in the bladders. I have a similar pack from another brand, I was hoping this would be an upgrade but unfortunately not.
