This is my third Patagonia Houdini Jacket, and I don't mean in a row. Like chapstick, I always want one in easy reach. I keep one in my Pickleball backpack, one in my biking bag and another in my car. For biking I wear size small for a sleeker fit (no flapping in the wind) and for everything else I like to be able to use it as an outer layer on occasion, so I wear size mediium. Great for travel because it really does pack a punch for adding warmth as an outer layer windbreaker, but takes up no room at all, and can even be handwashed and will dry overnight. Obviously I am a big fan.

I had a hard time finding the perfect rain jacket, but this is it. It’s thin, light weight, the hood is big enough (I find that’s a common theme in jackets for me). The only thing is that I wish it had pockets by the waist. That’s the ONLY thing I’d change about this jacket.
