Awkward fit
I did size suggestion and ordered a size 12 these fit very snug and awkward. But I bought them for vacation and wore them anyway. I am normally a size 8 but have hips and gluten. I think these were made for a less curvy shaped person.

Very disappointed
The length is too long and the fit is horrible. I bought these shorts a number of years ago before you started to change the sizing on your shorts. Those were a size 4 and they still fit. I ordered a 4, 6, and 8. Non fit. What a disappointment and wast of money with the cost of the return. The clothes you made in the past that I loved are now no longer a sure fit even sizing up. This has happened with more than these shorts.

Perfect fit with a mediocre fly
These fit exactly how I've been wanting shorts to fit!! For reference, I'm quite tall and have a small waist compared to my hips and thighs. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and the 6 fit great. The style is also exactly what I've been looking for - classic beach vibes. Only downside is that below the cute tie closure is one little snap button in the middle ... maybe that's traditional for board shorts but it kind of makes it look like my fly is unzipped sometimes.

I love the stretch in
I love the stretch in these shorts, but I feel like all the Carve shorts are very small in the waist compared to the rest of the fit. While it may just be my middle aged mid section, I don't have the same issues in other brands.
