Love this ski!
I skied this ski on soft packed snow on the flats and in the bumps and it was fantastic. Holds an amazing edge, really stable and fast turning. Then I skied in the bumps in new powder and it was great. Highly recommend this ski!

Great skis
Demo'd the mindbenders 89ti last winter skied 34. 5k that day on them and they absolutely destroy. Bought a pair Black Friday for 279 on k2 website. These are incredible skis for those easy coast Adirondack days (of which I see many). Had so much fun on them. I'm really excited to have these. These are an incredible ski. They hold edge and lay it down. Really like the 2024 graphics too. These go fast and get after it. They have a playful side too. Fun, precise, and full speed ahead. Love these skis.

Absolutely love them ??
These are the best allrounders I ever had. Very forgiving en playful. Lots of pop and power. Easy handling on high speeds. Boatloads of fun. Seriously happy that I bought them.

Versatile Carving Dream
I'm stoked I got these. The 89 under foot with a tight radius makes for some deep fast trenching with a stable and reliable platform that isn't too noodly or too stiff. They do well in moguls too which was surprising and the even handle mashed potato pow that isn't too deep just fine. Excellent ski design, well done K2

The skis these Mindbenders replaced
The skis these Mindbenders replaced are narrow, 20 year old K2 Crossfires (the orange ones), which were great skis that I loved.

So, it took me a few runs to get used to the wider ski underfoot, and the longer shovel up front.

But after a day in mixed conditions, I love these skis!

I'm 6'1", 275 lbs, and got the 188's. I've been around long enough to remember watching Neil & Buzz walk on the Moon. I'm mostly on groomed trails, but venture into open glades and mild bumps on occasion.

These skis carved great short, medium and long radius arcs on the hardpack groomers, turn on a dime when I wanted them to, but didn't get squirrelly at higher speeds. They plowed nicely through spring corn and wet cement.

I've recommended these skis to my friends and other ski patrollers.

Good skis but K2 could do a better job articulating difference between Carbon and Ti.
I realize that I was taking a chance purchasing these without demo-ing them, but relying on the website description, online reviews, and word of mouth, so this decision is entirely on me.

I waffled between these skis and the 99Ti version and finally went carbon because reviews mentioned these were much lighter and the Ti version being less lively due to the added weight and stiffness. After a few days on the 96C's, I have a bit of buyers remorse wishing I had gone with the 99Ti version instead. These carbon skis seem to want to hook and grab a lot when placed on edge and really bounce me around more than I like. They're fine, but I feel the heavier T1 versions probably would have been better suited to my skiing style.

The K2 website descriptions seem to just tout both of these ski versions as awesome, so perhaps more details as to the differences between the two would have been helpful.

So far so good.
I haven't had a chance to use them yet but the color and fit are great. They feel excellent so I'm hopeful that translates into an excellent experience. I'll reserve my performance review for another time.

I've had these boots in
I've had these boots in service as a lift operator for three weeks. They are light and very comfortable. The boa really holds my forefoot in place well. I no longer carry work boots in my pack. They also work great with my side country set up. I would buy these again.

Great touring/alpine set
I drastically upgraded my skinning set up. Skis, poles, and boots all through K2. Light and comfortable uphill and could still charge downhill.
