Are they down hill skis?

Yes they are. My wife and I were planning to try them out last weekend, but sadly no snow in Michigan at the time.

are these skis made of? (core)  It only mentions sidewall.

This ski has a wood insert core.

Do demo bindings mean they are used?

Thank you for your question. These bindings are not used. They will be new. Demo just indicates that the binding is adjustable to accommodate various boot sole lengths.
