Features
S1 Core - The smooth-flexing cousin to our A1 core, our S1 Core is designed to be damp underfoot and stronger than hell. Constructed from Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia, the S1 Core lets each wood do what it's best for. Tip-to-tail Bamboo stringers add snap, durability, and damping underfoot and are balanced out by lightweight paulownia in the midbody, tip, and tail help to reduce swing weight. Underfoot, Aspen and Bamboo are placed at 30 ° angles to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge.
Spectral Braid - K2's Patented (U.S. Patent No. 10,857, 445) Spectral Braid is a first of its kind variable angle reinforcement that allows for precision tuned torsion and flex by altering the fiber orientation along the length of the snowboards. This makes our snowboards feel lively, energetic, and remarkably composed.
SpaceGlass™ - An American made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at reduced weight. SpaceGlass™ inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability.
Recess3D - By reducing the number of materials in low-stress zones, we're able to minimize the swing weight of your snowboard while also reducing chatter in the tip and tail - all without sacrificing strength.

These are fantastic boots once
These are fantastic boots once I broke them in after about 6 days of riding. The first day was painful after that they just needed to soften up a bit. They are responsive, easy on and off and very comfy. I love the boa system combined with traditional laces. Perfect for my kind of riding which is more focused on hunting powder on the natural terrain.

Quality boot low quality zipper
Boots are comfortable right out of the box. Fit true to size. Would have given 4?? but the zipper that covers the laces broke first day out?

Flex seems to be true
Flex seems to be true to the chart. They fit well I'm between a 10 1/2 and 11 and I think either would have worked w this boot but I went w a 11 .

Durable boots with solid upgrade
100+ day a yr rider - mix of BC and inbounds. After being frustrated with previous brands falling apart after 35-40 days, I got well over 100 days on the previous version of this boot (the Ender). that boot was comfortable, warm, and consistent. Its a solid mid flex, and most importantly, has great board feel. The only knock on the previous Ender is I wish it had a better upper cuff, and snow protection over the lacing to keep feet dry on long days of touring. Both these issues were addressed with the Evasion. Just got the Evasion - Identical board feel and great response - but the addition of the velcro boot cuff makes it much easier to customize fit, and keep it loose for the ups and snug for the DH without having to re-tie the laces.
One important thing on sizing - this boot runs big. I'm a 9 in street shoes, and a 8.5 in almost every snowboard boot I've ridden from other brands. But after it packs out the 8.5 would be way too big. I was told to downsize a half size on the Ender, and on this replacement (the Evasion) and that rec was spot on for both (they WILL pack out). Fits absolutely perfect after a heat molding. Its s solid buy boot that will last!

Good all around boots!
I found these boots to be good for all around. They seem to be true to fit except the toe box. I wear 9.5 in just about everything. And the only thing on this boot that feels sloppy is the toe box I'm swimming in them. I tried not to heat mold right away then heat molded and still no fix to the problem. They seem to be holding up to the use so far I have put 20 days in them already this year and they seem like a solid boot.

precise fit, all day comfort, flex as advertised
the title says it all. i took these bad boys out for 3 days in the dolomites attached to a work trip, and my dogs were dry, and ready to go for the next day each time.
the dual boa is super nice for getting a precise fit (i like it a bit tighter in the foot and more flex in the ankle), and the flex is overall indeed in ~7/10 on stiffness. a bit stiffer than that maybe initially as it breaks in, but more or less what you'd expect.
great product all in all - looking forward to slaying some pow next year with it!
