Mixed, but worthwhile........
I gave it 4 stars not because its a great product, I rated it because if you have a set of wireless chips sitting doing nothing until winter, then for $29 you have a nice pair of wireless headphones making it a worthwhile accessory for the money.
It is a pretty good wireless headset for my iPhone and I like to use it for telephone calls while working on my computer at home. The chips in my opinion sound better in the helmut but the excellent ergonomics of the chips still work great in this configuration.
Nice headset for light hiking with the dog as well.
Build quality is OK for the money. the Chips sit nice and snug in the mount and the wire is hidden by a good design. I suppose a fair question is "what would they need to do to get it to 5 stars?" I'd say to make them more comfortable, greater fit and finish would be nice but also be an increase to the price and if the performance was not apparent, it would be priced out. I like this company and its products.
This is obviously a niche product to expand the use of the excellent chips if already owned or looking to buy. At $29 one should not be super critical about this product. It adds value to a the chips.
I should buy the head band next?
