Sad to say I only wore my helmet 3 times this season before putting it to the test in the most unfortunate way possible. Took a serious fall on an icy day and ended up in the ER with internal bleeding of the brain. Two hospitals later was discharged without need of surgery or extensive PT. Safe to say without it I would have had a life changing event for the worse. Now I just need to buy another one.

On lighter and more relevant side to most; I like how it has adjustable air vents, is supper warm & comfortable without the need for a hat, and works well with my Smith IOX goggles.

Bought this helmet for my accident prone daughter. She loved it, got the size medium. She is 6 feet tall and her head measured almost 59 cm. I decided not to size up to a large, and that was the right call.

I was disappointed in the features of this helmet. I did not pay close enough attention to what wasn't offer on this product. The goggle clip is cheap, it should be the strap like the others. Also no pockets for audio. This is a cheep not cheep helmet. The fit is good and it's pretty light. But I don't feel this is a good value. I would have spent more on a better model had I known the lack of features.

Fits great and makes me feel safe. I like the color too!

Padding in the ears are a touch thick so its a little hard to hear, but its a minor thing.

Man I'm just an occasional skier and this was my first helmet purchase. We don't all need a $300+ helmet and I think Smith hit it out of the park with the value of the Mission. Fit great based on the online sizing guide. Light enough for all day comfort and covered a wide range of temperatures throughout the day with the ventilation. Had all the safety ratings/features I wanted. And really worked well with my Smith goggles. Absolutely no giggle digging even with COVID mask. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fall under the lift at over 35mph (I wear a ski tracking device) on hard pack icy snow in New Hampshire today. I forgot to pack my Smith Vantage helmet that I've enjoyed for the past 3 years. I did not want to go out without a helmet for my 4 days of skiing so with encouragement from my partner decided to buy a replacement for my ski trip. I chose a Smith Mission with MIPS as my new backup helmet. I have sore ribs and left hip but most importantly no head injury. I can still hear the sound of the loud impact when my helmet hit the snow surface. Thank you Smith for providing the protection to keep me safe. My message to others is always wear a quality ski helmet.

Very good helmet! I have taken some pretty big falls and got a bit of whiplash but felt safe with the helmet. I did notice that one of the arms for the tightening mechanism has broken. The arm has a pin that goes into the helmet, and the pin broke off the arm and is still in the helmet. The helmet still works great, but it slants a little because it only tightens one side now.

I got this in addition to the Aleck Bluetooth system. As I was watching an installation video to do it correctly, the helmet failed in two places. First, a seam on the ear flap ripped as I was attempting to open where the aleck goes into. I would imagine that if it was designed to go in here, there would be some more reinforcement, since you would be opening it many times to charge. Then as I was taking out the ear piece in order to get to the next section to put the aleck in, a piece of foam snapped off. I don't understand how they can design these to be compatible when the process to set it in place is cheap and flimsy.

I got this helmet for my son for our 12 days skiing trip. He mentioned that the fleece lining can be a bit scratchy in some areas (perhaps at seams). Otherwise, he liked it. Thank you for the quick shipping!
