Great shape. Breathable Gortex texture.
The foot is always dry and kept warm.

A cushy hiking shoe
My feet are on the narrow side, so I lean toward brands (like ECCO) that run narrow in their regular width. I've had trouble finding hiking shoes that aren't too wide, so I'm glad these seem to run a bit narrow. I also like that they appear to have more cushioning than most hiking shoes. They are all grey, except a bit of the sole that is a pale peach. Some might find the lack of color boring, but for me it means they are more versatile and don''t make my larger feet stand out!

Unfortunately they OVERPRONATE
As other models that I have tried in the last year, these shoes overpronate. It is a pity because they look good and feel comfortable. But overpronatation can cause significant injuries...

Comfort plus stability plus lightweight
Great for trail walking or running. Wouldn't recommend them for a 5k or anything like that but they are fairly comfortable and do provide some ankle support.

Almost 5 Stars.
Aesthetics: 5/5. I love the simple, clean but nice look these shoes offer.

Comfort: 5/5. I was going to rate these shoes about a 3 for comfort because they felt very narrow. However, after wearing them for about a day I was able to break them in. I would suggest wearing them around the house with thicker socks for a little while before wearing them for a long period of time. I bought these because they are waterproof but are much lighter than waterproof boots. I'm not as tired after wearing these during a long shift so that's also a plus.

Durability: 3/5. At first glance these shoes look very well constructed. However, after just a couple of weeks the material on the left toe began to look frayed. I'm not sure why as that is not even my dominate foot.

This rating is slightly above 4 stars and I would recommend to a friend.

Great feeling shoe
This shoe is great for light hiking and perfect for spring time in Utah. Handles rain and mud well.

Disappointed
30 years old and I saw those shoes and purchase them and when I received them it was actually hard to get them on. Im a 12 and I purchase a 12 1/2 just in case to give me room and I still had a hard time getting them on because of the tongue part. It stops half way and makes the arch very tight and there is no room once you get your foot in. I think if the tongue was loose it probably would be a good shoe. Other then that it would of been fine so I had no choice but to return them because they hurt. I do have Northface boots and hopefully I will see another pair I like.

Go to in the woods and city
I Liked my first pair in another pair so much I'm buying this pair. The Gore tex feature is why I bought them and the stylish, comfort exceeded expectations.

They were good for about 2 months.
I bought the shoes around October and by December they had lost their waterproof. I used the shoes quite frequently and I knew they would eventually wear down but I was at least expecting 6 months of use. They were great and kept my feet dry but they only lasted two months.

These are great
These shoes are a little bit rugged but somehow still very comfortable. I hike in some places that are unpaved and also to places to do plein air painting, off the beaten path. I need shoes I can wear for long periods and be comfortable and have some support. And LOOK GOOD! These fit the bill!
