WATERPROOF NOT
I bought the shoes a year and a half ago, I wore them three times. Today I put them on for the first time in the rain and my toes are wet on both shoes.
Expectations were much higher. I do not recommend this product!

Comfortable and waterproof
Lightweight boot, feels like a trainer, great fit and genuinely waterproof. Had Solomon trail shoes for years and wanted something waterproof for the winter months.... Excellent.

Water resistant, not waterproof
(Purchased 27/11/24). Nice warm boots, good inner fleece. Study outsole and ok grip on the trails. The biggest issue I came across (in my experience) is the upper as it is not waterproof. It got wet in the rain unfortunately and did soak through. It did take the rain a while to seep in but if you plan on being out all day in wet weather in these then they won't keep your feet dry. As I got these on sale I'm relatively ok with this purchase but if I would of paid full price for these I would of been disappointed.

Very comfortable boots
These boots needed no wearing in, fitted perfectly. Smart enough to wear with jeans, equally good for hiking around a wet and windy Cumbria. Warm and waterproof so far. Very small downside is they are a bit slippy on wet pavement or rocks.

Super comfy
I bought this item about a month ago. They are super comfy for 13+ hour shifts. Caveat, the photo is a deceiving. The upper layer of the sole is actually really grey, not black at all. Disappointed. I'm technically not allowed to that much grey in my boots but I love the comfort and I used them already before I actually wanted to return them. Nonetheless, i start night shift and I'll keep using them until I'm told something.

Great around town winter boots!
These boots are awesome for around town winter days. This is my 3rd pair. These boots are extremely light, comfortable and warm. Im glad they still offer them. I like the colors they used with these as well. They are super easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and they look new again. Keep making them Salomon!

Comfortable hybrid winter boot/shoe
Fits true to size. Very lightweight and athletic for a winter boot. I use for day hikes and disc golf. Good for winter hikes around the city or parks. Great if you're looking for a winter boot that's light enough to move around some miles in through the snow. If you're doing some heavy duty labor all day long in frigid temperatures I would opt for a more heavy duty boot as these insulated but only to a moderate amount and are designed for speed and comfort first.

Great, comfortable shoe
Comfortable from the first wear, and seem to hold up well to the demands of daily soggy dog walks, as well as being sturdy enough for some decent hikes up and down hills. Took them on a 13 mile hike up a big hill in the Yorkshire Dales in the first few days of having them, and they were brilliant. Perfectly waterproof, don't seem to get too dirty, and still look good in the pub afterwards.

comfy boots
Comfy from first wear, no breaking in needed. Soft around the achilles tendon, which is why I buy Salomon. Grip is good on rough terrain. Seem waterproof, so far!

is this shoe waterproof?
The shoe is waterproof due to the Gore-Tex component. I wore the shoes while hiking the Cloud Forest in Monte Verde (Costa Rica). It rained all day (not pouring rain though), and the shoes stayed dry and warm. The trails were muddy, and their grip gave me stability and confidence as I explored the park.
I wear a 7.5 in Solomon’s will 8 be to big?
I wear a 9.5 most of the time and a 10 in some shoes. I ordered a 10 in the Solomon Predict Hike and it fits my foot just right.
