Great shoe, I use them for the gym and wear them to work. I got mine in an Olive Color and they look great. They're nice because you can wear them with, or without socks. And you don't need to worry about them stinking up because the sole is removable and machine washable. It also has the "drop in" heel, meaning you can step right on the heel and wear them like slippers as well, without damaging the shoe. The drop in heel is made from leather as well, and softens up after a short time and feels cool against your heel.

GREAT SHOES! My first Alapa Li's from Olukai but not my first Olukai's. The shoes have a narrow fit but are very comfortable. I bought the charcoal color and they look great with jeans but also sports clothes when going for a walk or short hike

Just received the 'Alapa Li in trench blue. Perfect fit, true to size (11), and very comfortable. I have a slightly wider foot and OluKai always fits. I can see wearing these with dark jeans or shorts. This is also my 5th pair of OluKai (two pair of flip flops and three sets of shoes) but my first pair in this style so I am a fan! I really do like this style; just might have to buy another in a different color.

This is a nice looking shoe but I was disappointed to find my typical size 12 was too long, which will require paying for shipping charges to return it and additional wait for size 11.5 to arrive (plus hoping that is the correct size). I'm loyal to the brand and size reliability was a key, especially since these shoes are not in local stores. Please keep sizes consistent for new releases and I will keep coming back.

I just got these in grey about 10 days ago, and I've already ordered my 2nd pair in black. I have to argue these may be the best shoe ever made... They are so incredibly comfortable to wear, it's like walking on clouds. I love the way they hug your feet with the perfect amount of tension in the right areas. Love the design and materials so much. I've always loved Olukai's wider toe box design, and while these are slightly more narrow than I'd prefer, I'm still giving these 5 stars. I'll admit it! I'm secretly just hoping the designers are reading these comments, so they can offer more color options. :) I'd even wear these to more formal events if they had a few options with a charcoal or black soles. That said, I still have a few more options to go, and I'm kind of crazy when I fall in love with something. Already clearing out some spots in my closet. Thanks to everyone at Olukai... I will be a little happier on the days I wear these, and that is a great thing!

1st purchase I made after a birthday gift of sandals a year ago. Sandals are great width so I figure shoes would be too. OH NO very narrow and I had to return (and I had to Pay For the return shipping). So I will no be a buyer of shoes but sandals are OK. I wish I did my due diligence on returns, for I would not have bought through this website but through Amazon. For the free returns

I love the designs and quality of your shoes, your advertising is a bit misleading. I was hurt to find out that they aren?t made by people with the Aloha Spirit. I understand business and I understand why you have them made in China...I?ve bought my last pair.

I really like them. It’s a shame they are more narrow than a typical shoe. A wider version would get 5 stars.

Like the shoe, but the ?shoe strings? do not have the ability to be adjusted for a more snug fit.
