About the Asics Men's GEL-KINSEI MAX Running Shoes
The GEL-KINSEI™ MAX trainer takes the experience of running on clouds to the next level. It's been redesigned for runners who want every step to feel like it's oozing with softness. The tooling is modified with our FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning for the midsole's top layer. This helps provide cloud-like comfort while creating an energized feel at toe-off. A TPU midsole plate is positioned in the center of the midsole to provide a more dynamic toe-off. It also works in tandem with the new rubber foaming and Hybrid GEL™ technology to help create smoother underfoot transitions.

Trash - falling apart after less than 20 miles
Awful shoes and customer service.
I've been running with Asics cumulus for many years. I have bought about 10 pairs or more over that time.
The foam on the heel on and the rubber sole on this model started wearing away badly after less than 20 miles of use.
I contacted customer service, if anything just to show them how quickly they wore down, and the were terrible and pulled every trick they could to get off the conversation - culminating in offering to get a supervisor to contact me within 3 days. A week later no contact.
I'll get a pair of Hokas or something else next.

Fits looser than previous models of Gel-Nimbus
With the redesign of Gel-Nimbus, this show now fits quite a bit looser than the previous two models I had purchased. I wasn't sure it was going to work out, but after a couple weeks I've gotten used to them. I usually order a half size larger than my regular show size, but I think I would have been fine not doing so for the Gel-Nimbus 25 and going with my regular size. And what is up with the super long shoe strings this time around, Asics?

Better late than never on Nimbus 25
Very comfortable, more so than the Nimbus 24's (which i did like in the 24's). Don't let the larger "footprint" (pun intended) of the 25's fool or scare you -- i did and stayed with same Nimbus 24's for three rounds than move to Nimbus 25's. Trend wear of the 25 better than 24 but not as much traction on dirt (vs. hard surface).

liked older model better
not near as soft on the feet as the previous model---that one was like walking on air --this one is about the same as a $70 running shoe but much more expensive--not sure why the change in comfort and cushioning

Luxurious
This shoes has a luxurious finishing and great quality. Comfort and stability are well balanced and I can go for a running, squats, go around my day and even go out with this one? the design is great for my taste specifically, but no one can deny this is good quality and luxurious shoes. I am very impressed by ASICS line of products.

Great all-around shoes
Great looking shoe. Has good support in the arches really like the black soles was burned out on tge white. Highly recommend

Nice but didn't work
Nice sleek sneaker. Easy to wear to work. However, they are not a replacement for my Gel nimbus 25 which I will repurchase. They are way better for walking.

Good Light and comfortable
Good bang for your buck. Light comfortable for walking and Light running. I wouldn't use for long runs though.

Bring back the 23s
First, they don't fit as well as the Gel-Cumulus 23. They don't fit my foot as securely and the cushioning feels too bouncy. Second, the large white lower part of the shoe looks like you're running on a marshmallow - the 23s were much more stylish. Third, you need to double-tie them to keep them tied. This never happened with the 23s and I don't know what is different. Finally, I find them difficult to get on as if the opening is smaller. The hoop in the back does not help with that, either. Sorry!

What happened!
I don't know what happened to the internal design of this shoe, but whatever it was?well, it was a mistake. After running on this shoe for 7 to 8 miles it feels like running on tiny inverted suction cups pushing up on the bottom of my feet. Not good at all. I have been running in Cumulus shoes for at least a decade and this model is a disaster. I'm close to either giving them away or throwing them away and trying Hoka.
