Amazing comfort!
I am more of a jogger, striking heavy on the heal and more often than not post warm up too would deal with shin splints about 0.5 mile into my run easily while jogging brisk on the road. This probably my first shoe review and can safely say with 1st day of 5 mile jog, my quickest this year and my feet aren't sore. Just a bit sung in the middle section, but not discomforting.

Great Purchase
Awesome purchase. Picked these up at my local Dicks Sporting Goods. I have wide flat feet and these fit me perfectly.

Make more
This shoe proves that Brooks knows how to make an amazing daily trainer. It's too bad it's a dead end.

Sorcery in Size 11s
Long story short: at this point a week ago, I was 47 years old with 4 kids, an artificial hip, and a 6-year history of not running. (No treadmills. No light jogs. No beach runs. No nothing -- too much pain, and the wrenching soreness for the few days after became not worth it.) I had accepted long ago that my running days were over. I had accepted the dreaded Peloton life a some point thereafter. That life is boring.
Fast forward a week. I am still 47 years old, I still have 4 kids, and as far as I can tell, my fake hip is still there. What's different is that I've run every day since in these Auroras, sometimes twice per day, and the fact that there has not been *ONE TRACE* of pain or soreness in my kness/hips/back is -- and please don't take this the wrong way -- spooky. It is. I'm sorry. My joints somehow feel *BETTER* when I'm running in these, which is a bit unsettling. That is not nitrogen you've injected into these shoes. It's sorcery.
In all seriousness, these shoes have done the impossible: they've given me my running life back. I cannot thank the people of the BlueLine Lab enough for the vision & wherewithal to pull this off. Just a brilliant product, top to bottom. Bought a 2nd pair for when these need to be retired, and bought my dad a pair just to spread the gospel.
Take a bow, Brooks.

Brooks, we are begging. . . MAKE MORE
I could write for hours about how these shoes are absolutly perfect. Every millimeter of foam every stitch placement, it's all perfect. I'm not one to use hyperbolic language, so I won't. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever run in. They are absolutely everything you need in an easy/longrun cushioned shoe. I have yet to find any shoe like it. My first pair I ran the rubber off the soles out of frustration that I could no longer purchase another. I ended up turning to ebay and paying an obsurd amount of money just to get the chance to have one final go with these shoes. The last size 11 being sold anywhere on the internet, and I had them. That was it, I knew when I ran through this pair that it was over. Part of me didn't want to believe this but I always knew one day I would have to come to the relization that I will never run in these shoes again. That day has come. I'm nearing the end of my second pair and as I search for a replacment the thought of leaving these shoes lingers in the back of my head. I know that no pair of shoes can ever replace the Auroras. If anyone at Brooks is reading this please we are begging, bring them back. I undersatnd that these were a test to see if people would actually like the foam or whatever it may be. I know that the Glycerin 20s are supposed to be the predecessor of these shoes, but they aren't. They can never be anything like these. I know the Glycerins are the closest thing but the only similarity they share is the foam. 6 millimeters, that is the perfect heal-to-toe drop. I don't need the 10mm that the Glycerin has and I also don't need the extra 2oz that is stacked onto them as well. No shoe can ever repeat what these had. The perfect tongue, never rubbed me the wrong way or shifted my foot around in the shoe. But, what gave the shoe its personality everyone here in the reviews has come to love is the detached sole. The way the sole flexed with your foot accompanied by the perfect amount of soft cushioning gave you an experience that no other shoe can ever give. The way it flowed with your foot as if it was a part of you. I am a competitive cross-country runner and decided to pick up a new shoe for my recovery miles and easy runs. Little did I know the gem I had just stumbled upon. I run roughly 40-50 miles a week and about 1/3 of those miles are in these shoes. It's sad to think that soon I will have to let go of these shoes forever. There is no replacement and there will never be a replacement. Brooks please, we are begging to bring these back. Don't try to sell us the Glercerines, we don't want them. We want this shoe.

Love it!
I love everything about this shoe. The outlook is amazing and the cushion is so soft and responsible. I have moderate flat feet and wore Asics gel Kayano and Adrenaline and Beast for my training days. My feet don't have any issues with this shoe. I wore Asics for 10.5 but need 11 for Brooks. The Aurora will be my next training shoe.

FIRM BUT FLEXIBILE
Wow what an improvement. The stiffness is gone. The upper fits like a glove. The flexibility and support are all in the right places. It makes walking easy. The guides do their job but do not overdue the support like the previous edition. Another great upgrade.

Top Cushioning with Top stability
Very good cushioning but also very stable. These shoes took me through my first ever marathon training plan and at 300 miles on these, I completed my 1st marathon. I bought a 2nd pair after the 1st 50 miles and kept them on hand. I closed out the first pair at 500 miles and currently have 275 miles on the 2nd pair. I highly recommend these for newer runners like myself.
