Good fit and feel for the Ghost 16 but far less tread than previous designs
The fit is good and it is a very comfortable shoe. I'm very disappointed by the changes Brooks has made since the Ghost 14. The Ghost 15 didn't fit as well as the 14 and I'm glad the 16 seems to be back on track. I would give a higher rating for the fit and feel of the shoe but can't get over the reduced amount of tread. The change to the tread between the 14 and 16 are significant. I don't have a newer pair of 15's to compare but have included photos showing the difference. We sure aren't getting as much for the price.

Shoe glue came apart at sole
Quality has gone down hill. Sizing is off depending on the color you get/ country it's made in overseas. I had a pair for one day! One four mile walk and the upper was peeling off the sole. The upper is made from cheap materials. Brooks what is going on. Guess it's back to my other brand for a bit.

Why?
Really don't like how thick the sole is getting at all. Is like every brand thinks they need to change their shoes to become Hoka's. Clearly that style is popular and hot right now, but then just come up with a model like that (I thought that was what the ghost max was for) but don't keep messing with a flagship model. Asics did it with the nimbus as well and it's frustrating. Alot of us want a good NORMAL neutral cushioned shoe but don't want 3 inches of foam under our foot.

Terrible
I've only worn these two or three times but I'll be sending them back. They are just as uncomfortable as the 15's. I don't know what your design team has done to these shoes but you ruined them. They are not comfortable at all. Ghost 12's were my favorite.

Toe box too tight
Toe box is much tighter than the previous version. More flexible material would allow it to give.

Brooks is going the wrong way with Ghost
Ghost 16 is better than Ghost 15, but nowhere near as great as Ghost 12.
Using the high bar of Ghost 12, I was very unimpressed with Ghost 16.
Ghost 16 upper is not comfy, a little wide in the toe box, and doesn't surround your foot with that plush feel of Ghost 12.
Ghost 16 doesn't have the run cushion feel of 12, but feels better than 15.
Ghost 16 feels as if there is no arch support whatsoever. I find it hard to believe that it's still classified as a neutral shoe.
Brooks, you have gone way off the path. For your next iteration of Ghost, go back to 12 and make the same shoe. If you want it to be different, try to make it feel like 12? but change isn't always good, nor necessary.
Don't be convinced by running shoe reviews from any site where they get compensated for their reviews. Those reviewers keep praising every shoe from every company with no conscience! I fell for too many of those "expert" opinions, only to realize they love every shoe - and get, at the very least, free shoes.
Note: I've owned and worn Ghost 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 16. The failures began with 13 and keep piling up.
I returned my 16 model to the running store and am trying something different. No need to mention which shoe company it is, because it isn't Brooks- sad to say.
For the record, I've owned more than 20 pairs of Ghost in the past, including at least 10 of Ghost 12.

Not the same Ghosts
I thought I'd give the Ghost 16 another try after loving my Ghost 12 and 13. Truth be told, the manufacturer changed these starting with the Ghost 14 and the quality and comfort feel has taken a turn for the worst. Staying with Hoka.

This is refreshing in a world of big stack height trends
Just got back from a short morning run and all positive things.
?Springy yet cushioned
?Good energy return
?Comfortable landing regardless of how your foot strikes (I played with this)
?Feel natural
?Plenty of room in the toe box
?Obviously lightweight
Please don't change anything. I think the audience for this shoe is indeed smaller as we are in a big stack height trend right now.
If the 5K was a popular as the marathon, it would fly off the shelves

I was really disappointed that the Ghost 16 was less comfortable than my previous Ghost versions. The toe box was extra wide even though I order a regular/medium width, and the height of the arch was much much lower than all of my previous Ghost version.
I returned two pairs of the preordered Ghost 16's.
Again, very disappointed.
