Amazing. DNA Loft v3 really shines.

I've had these shoes for a few weeks now. It seems like Brooks overcame the issues the Ghost Max tread with early tread wear (my Ghost Max started to wear almost immediately). These are very roomy shoes if you have wide feet, so you may want to go down half a size if you can. The cushioning is the softest out of all of the Brooks runners I've owned. The lower drop makes these shoes great for walking and running. This was a great addition to my Brooks, and if the quality of the sole continues to hold out, then Brooks got this one right.

So first a little background on me. I have disintegrated discs in my lumbar spine so I have moderate low back and leg pain daily. I'm also a nurse on my feet 14 hours a day so this is my take on the Ghost Max 2. I have no doubt this is a sturdy shoe but being a lover of the Ghost Max this Ghost Max 2 felt completely different. I was expecting improvements on the things I loved about the Ghost Max such as the comfort and Max cushion. I felt this shoe to be very stiff, narrow and uncomfortable for me to wear. I put them on just before work as I did with my Ghost Max shoes but the difference was with the Ghost Max I instantly fell in love with the shoe as soon as I put them on and stood up to walk. I did not feel this with the Ghost Max 2. So I boxed them back up and returned them and purchase another pair of Ghost Max.

Please tell me there are more color choices, coming! Even, a completely white version, or even black!

Feels a little narrower midfoot than the original Ghost Max and overall not quite as comfortable.

Absolutely love this shoe. I have the 1080v13, More v5, Ghost 15, and the Nimbus 26 and I like this shoe the most. It's a little firmer than New Balance's foams and doesn't bottom out like FreshFoamX sometimes does, and I find the upper and the straight last fit my foot much better than the Ghost 15. If future shoes in the Max line are similar and receive incremental improvements, I'll be purchasing a pair every year.

My only request is please have a white/neutral/cream color in the 4E widths!!! Every manufacturer of 4E shoes (New Balance, Asics, even Nike) has at least one extra-wide premium model (>=$140) in white/off-white/cream except you Brooks.

Toe box was made smaller. Originals 9.5 fit my toes perfectly, now I need a 10 and it feels off.

Ghost Max 2 runs as well as the original. Seems to have a bit more cushion. Overall a great shoe, light weight, very responsive and supportive.

This shoe has a lot of cushion. It's nice not to feel the road and instead I feel a supportive sole under my feet. However, I wish the shoe toe was more rounded and in the shape of an actual foot so that I didn't have to purchase 3 sizes larger than I normally wear. The front of the shoe squeezes together my toes and caused tented toe nails. Also made my bunions worse.
Would be good if there was more room on the outside of the big toe, because it presses your toe against the 2nd toe. I guess that's due to the more pointed front of the shoe.
I noticed the inside of the shoe doesn't quite measure what a 4E should measure, I see you try to make up for that with more fabric on the top, but wish the shoes were actually shaped like a wide foot, that would be helpful. I don't purchase these shoes for fashion, I purchase them for comfort and stability. I'm noticing a lot of the shoe manufacturers are doing the same thing with the more pointed front, why is that? These are one of the last brands that carries an extra wide width, please stop streamlining the shoe shape.

To be honest they feel like the beast 23'. I wish they felt more like the Ghost Max 1
