I own two pairs of the Vault Gore-Tex MTEs that were released a few years ago and I love them but these have improved on those in amazing ways. They feel extremely solid and durable all around. The new tread is going to be a lifesaver in the snow and they're extremely warm. Really glad they've finally started using proper insulation for the MTE models. The Ultracush insole is springy and comfortable and these run slightly wider than my other Vans so they can accommodate thicker socks for the winter months. As it hasn't rained much at all lately I can't speak on the waterproofing but I never had any issues with the previous models so I'm confident these will be just as good in that area. They're quite a bit heavier than all my other Vans but once I put them on I didn't notice the weight. These are pricey of course but after receiving them I can see why. Vans did not skimp on the details and quality with these.

Headed to a show Seattle and knew it was gonna rain hard. These are definitely waterproof and fit great! Maybe get a half size up if you can. A little heavier than average but really great quality. Love the MTE line for the harsher weather :)

I am very happy with how they look. They are extremely comfortable and the material is amazing and different so is the extra laces. I think you guys should of done a vans that is all white but over time deconstructs so the crayola art shows. When will ya collab with adult swim i been asking since the simpson vans came out.

At Vans I first tried on the MTE-1 on my left foot, and I almost bought them due to the fact they felt so comfortable, on my right foot I put these boots on I couldn't believe how incredibly comfortable these felt over the MTE-1's. For $65 more it was so worth it to me especially with added Gortex Technology to guarantee a dry foot it was a no-brainer to me. Utah has cold, and wet months. I'm stoked on my purchase. Its worth mentioning that these do run about 1/2 size bigger than what I normally wear in Vans.

These shoes are basically boots. I have had a pair of MTEs before but not like this. These hug my feet in a snowboard boot type of way with more walking flex. Super water proof as well. It has been raining here the last two days and I am squeegeeing water around and my feet are still dry. They are warm too. So happy I got these!!

I work at a vans store here in Washington, and I was so excited to get a pair of these when we finally got them in. I currently have 2 different styles of these (the black ones and the cornstalk ones) and my dad loves and owns 2 pairs as well . There are so comfy and keep my feet warm, and the styles are sleek and elegant. The only issue I have is I that I have noticed that the soles have some sort of adhesive issue in the inner workings, and every time I step there's a pop. (My dad says he hasn't noticed anything and he wears a larger size then me so I'm not sure if it's only in smaller sizes?) I've noticed that it goes away with enough walking around but it will come back if you leave them sit for a while. It seems to be a consistent issue with every style I've tried on. It happens on both the left and right foot. It was a little upsetting to see that the 2nd pair i ordered had this issue as well, however I still highly recommend these simply because they are such and awesome shoe, and I feel like I could take them to the Himalayas and be totally fine. Just to be safe, I'd suggest trying to get a style at a Vans store to try them on and make sure they don't have the adhesive issues in the sole :)

These are fireeeee, would definitely buy again. I've had my eye on these for a few weeks, finally took the dive and bought them and I am NOT mad about it. I work outside and these are able to roll right through the mud like my work boots.

I really loved these shoes until i would've gave them five stars the first week I got them I wore them for less than a month and they started coming apart I'm so sad that I can't send them back because it states must be unworn to return would give 0 stars if I could for quality of the material

Bought these before going to hike Zion national park and they held up perfectly. Also completely water proof when I walked in river and ponds 10/10
