The colors are awful and the same colors should be available in wide. I would love to purchase them but will not be doing so until you make a color I would even consider wearing. Not all women like pink!

I walk up to 6 miles a day. Had nerve compression surgery to my ankle/foot and calf. I also have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I ordered the Bondi 8 but was curious of the comfort and fit. Went to a local Run store. Tried on the Clifton 9 then the Bondi 8. With my foot issues, the Clifton 9 was was like walking on air. I walked around the store several times and there was no pain, not even a little. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and light. I think the Bondi 8 had too much form for my feet thru the toes and upper sides. The Clifton 9 allows my feet more room. I would have taken a half size larger and the wide width in Bondi 8. The Clifton 9 is true to size. I bought 2 pair for rotation. Hoka is my new brand.

Got these from a local store and I'm not impressed. They come up higher in the back and they are higher on the side around my ankle. My Clifton 8' were the bomb- no sure why they changed the design. Would have love more fun colors and kept the same design. I did go with a different Hooka that was higher priced- but I already miss my 9.5 wides!

I have 2 pairs of Clifton 8s and loved them! I was really excited to transition to the Clifton 9s for marathon training but feel let down. The side of the shoe rubs up against my ankle bone, like the dip is in the wrong spot. I need more toe box space so I got a wide but after each of my 3 runs in these my toes really hurt. I bought a 3rd pair of Clifton 8s yesterday.

This is my 5th pair of Clifton shoes. This updated model seem to be more narrow compared to the Clifton 8. Also this is NOT a plush shoe as advertised, especially compared to the 8's and all previous models I've owned. Thankfully, Hoka still has the Clifton 8 available in my size because I will be returning the Clifton 9. Such a disappointment!

My most recent purchase is my 5th or 6th of Clifton's. So comfortable! Since I've been wearing Hokas I am no longer bothered by plantar fasciitis. I also like the fit through the toe box as I've had problems with bunions in the past (yeah, my feet are a mess :-) ). Over the years that I've worn Hokas (10+ ) I feel like their quality has gotten better ?. it was always good, but unlike most products, it has improved. I have started purchasing a half size larger but that may have more to do with my feet than the shoe itself. I no longer run but these are fabulous shoes for the walkers out there as well ?..or just anyone whose job requires them to be on their feet a lot.

I have 8-9 pair of Clifton 8's. And they ruined a great shoe. I tried them for a couple weeks & finally returned them. They are firmer in the sole, not comfortable at all like the Clifton 8. I don't know why they ruined a good thing & changed the 9 so dramatically. Its more of a pointed toe than the 8's. As long as they still sell the Clifton 8's, they'll be my go to shoe.

I am SO SAD. I LOVE Hokas and have been wearing the Cliftons for years. Ordered a pair of Clifton 9s for an upcoming trip and couldn't wait for them to arrive. Wow was I disappointed! They look great, but the fit is definitely not great. I could feel my toes hitting on the end, despite ordering the same size as what I'm currently wearing in my Clifton 8s. Not sure what or why Hoka did to an otherwise perfect shoe but please hit undo and go back to the far superior Clifton 8 model. These are headed back to Hoka tomorrow.

I have been a long time Hoka and Clifton wearer and I wasn't a fan of the 8's at all (fabric and fit). While the 9's aren't like the 7's (my favorite) they fit well! I have been running in Hoka's since 2011.

Helps all my foot problems - Plantar fasciitis, bunions, knee and back issues - getting relief for the first time in months!
