I've been buying running shoes for 30 years and this is the 1st pair that I would never purchase again. Maybe it's my fault for not buying a pair that didn't specify "cushion." I'm not even using them for running, just walking, and they are the most uncomfortable shoes I've owned. I have to wear my old shoes which practically have a hole in the sole they are so worn, and the old shoes are 10 times more comfortable than these horrible things. I have pain in my heels and on the back of my foot above my heel. These are worthless, I'm disappointed, and these shoes are a waste of money. Don't buy them.

Have to agree with others on...the older Launch shoes are better than the new. I have the Launch 4's which I totally loved and no issues with my feet. Now I have Launch 7's and I have had issues. Now I question what shoe to get because of them changing up the shoes.

Bought for my wife and after a few walks not runs and they begin to show rips and tears. Paid good money for a shoe that just doesn't hold up even just for a walking shoe. Very disappointing!

Decades of love for the Ariel of the past
I?ve worn Ariels since they were called Brooks beast for women. It was so nice to go in every few months and just pick up my new pair without even trying them on. When the 16s came out though they changed so much I had to buy up all the 14s in my size I could everywhere to hold me over. I?m out now and the 18 and 20 are still not working for me. The 20s that I have the heel is not narrow enough so it slips. I have the laces so high and tight it hurts. The shoes also wear our so quick too. Please bring back the sturdy structure and solid performance of the 14 and before!!!!

Great shoe. Not enough colors.
Don?t get me wrong, I love these shoes but why only 2 colors? I bought both colors but I?d really love something other that black or white. To make matters worse, I need a wide shoe which really limits the colors available in any other shoe. Please make more color choices for those of us who need a wide, supportive shoe.

I?m giving 5 stars because I have worn Ariels for many years. I replace my shoes every 4 months. I?m on my feet all day and I walk a lot. I also pronate and wear orthotics. I feel I get the most support from the Ariel. However, my last pair it felt like my foot was swimming in the shoe, very little ankle support and arch support just did not feel like it was there. I definitely will try the next New Ariel that comes out but I will not be purchasing another Ariel 20. I paid over 180.00 for mine. I do expect high quality for the price. I need no shoes right now, but I will wait it out. I hope the wait won?t be long.

I own a pair of these and love the fit.
