I received two pair of socks from Darn Tough while on the CDT and was very favorably impressed by the service. I don't know if this is a blip, but one pair (gray, the color is the only obvious difference) works fine. The second pair, navy blue, has this odd "grip-and-release" behavior on the insoles of my Merrill Moab 2 shoes. The constant tugging is threatening to create blisters on the balls of my feet. I can't say why this is, perhaps it is down to the dye or maybe a different finishing process? I've used the navy socks about 3 times and the problem seems to be decreasing.

These are great but, get the full cushion version. They are more comfy but, not noticeably hotter.

Great socks. They have good warmth from the knit material. Great for wearing at nights because of the warmth. Would highly recommend these socks to anyone wanting a buy it for life sock. A+ socks. Darn tough is great.
