I'm an old fat guy with wide feet. That said, I am very active. I'm a bike mechanic and a handyman. I hike at least 3 times a week and walk an obnoxious Boxer at least 4 miles a day. I'm a huge fan of Keen footwear especially these sandals. I can work in them and hike in them. When it's cold out I put on warm socks.

I buy a pair of these every year for my daughter. Not because they break down, but because she is a kid and grows out of them. They stay in place, don't cause blisters and have excellent grip. She loves climbing on everything and these work great for her. I recommend wearing them with socks if you can, it will make their feet more comfortable, especially in sandy areas. Pro tip: the anti-microbial footbed only works when activated by light, don't go home and throw these in the closet, instead put them outside where the sun can kill all that bacteria. I also clean them with an old toothbrush and dish soap after each excursion and they stay fresh and clean all summer!

Great shoes for kids!

My little boy has other Keens and he wears the same size in these shoes as in the others. Lighter weight than some of the other keen sandals for kids.

Love the product but they run very large. Child wears a 5-5.5 so I bought a 6 and it's huge. She almost walks out of it. But will keep it cause she'll grow into it. Also, colors and sizes are scarce. When you sell shoes you should keep them stocked.

I am a 57 year old woman with neuropathy so my feet hurt a LOT! They are also small so women's shoes are hard to find and usually expensive . But these wonderful Big Kids KEEN shoes fit me to a T and suddenly I can walk without pain again. Until I take them off anyway. Such a blessing for this big kid.

These are even more vibrant in color than they show in the picture. I purchased the very berry/coral and they are beautiful. I love the color selection available in the big kids section. I wear a size 7 in women's and I ordered a size 5 in the big kids and they fit perfectly. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have two little boys...beautiful, smart, caring boys...that are also quite WILD! They are in to everything and running wherever they go. I personally have found the Seacamp to be our go to KEEN sandal for the lightness of the sole. Its flexible, its light and they can run around without falling over the toe of the shoe or being weighed down by the weight of the sole. EASY to get on, which I love. They wash up well & I have not experienced in poor smell with my kids wearing these daily in and out of water, barefoot in hot weather.

As far as fit and looks go, these shoes are great. My boy wore them all summer long. He ran, he jumped, he kicked, he played... They went in the water, in the sand, on the concrete, on gravel, in the dirt, in mud, upstairs, downstairs, you name it ~ everywhere but outer space. The shoes have held up very well. My only complaint is the WRETCHED SMELL that comes from both the shoes and his feet when wearing them!!! This horrid odor has been known to CLEAR ENTIRE ROOMS (no lie) and to STING EYES (again, no lie). Only ONCE did an unknowing grandma remove these shoes from his feet in the confines of a car ride and no amount of Febreze could quell the damage. Ok I may be exaggerating slightly here ~ but the fact remains, these shoes S-T-I-N-K.

I have looked up home remedies to kill the foul odor. I've soaked in hot, soapy water, followed by air-dry. I've sprinkled baking soda inside, then placed in ziploc bag and put in freezer overnight. I've used Clorox disinfectant wipes. These were just temporary remedies. The stench always returned within 2-3 days tops.

Will I buy these again next summer in a bigger size for my growing boy? Yup. The durability and his comfort outweigh the vile funk permeating from these cute shoes. But that thing inside the shoe that says something about "odor-eating" is wrong, wrong, WRONG.

I have been buying one pair of shoes for each of my kids every summer and this has to be the best summer sandals around.

Sturdy, they last the whole summer and they are still in tip top shape (but sadly too small) when I pass them on to my nephew who wears them for a summer as well.

Comfy, I still have to see a blister on my kids' feet while wearing them and we have had long hikes in those.

Practical, I just soak them in Baking soda and water or soapy water every once in a while and they come out all shiny and clean.

The only tiny problem is sometimes, they start to smell (only the issue with one pair). So I was washing them in the washing machine every week and it seemed to work.

Overall, I would strongly recommend those shoes. They may seem pricey but they are worth the money.

I got these in size 5 and I am a size 7 in womens. At first I ordered some womens keen sandals but they were too big so I went to the store to try some on. The size 5 kids fit absolutely perfect! I would have just bought them at the store but they only had purple which is not my favorite. I love them!!!
