Not a triathlete, so my 1 star may be misguided. Triathlete or not, there is minimal padding in these. Can't imagine riding more than 20 miles in these. Price was right I guess, but buyer beware. ( I'm a big advocate of PI gear, but these fall way short)

These fit well and are comfortable. First pair of bike shorts I've ever bought

Second pair so 1 can be in Laundry. Used them in tri's from sprint to 70.5 Iron Man.

The padding in the shorts is not only extremely thin, but way too narrow to be useful for an XL. Painful

These tri shorts feel to me like a swimming centric short. I've tried shorts from SLS3 (bike centric short) and Pearl Izumi's put more emphasis on being sleek and minimal, presumably to fit well during the swim. The shorts are made of only two panels, so they rely on stretching more for the fit. The pad is also quite thin, which is good for absorption in the water. Despite being thinner I didn't feel too much pressure in the saddle even when riding for an hour. The men's small worked well for me, though I usually wear a Pearl Izumi Medium. I imagine the medium for these would have been way too loose in the water. My waist is 31" so these had to stretch a comfortable amount to fit me.

I don't wear these shorts for a sport of any type I wear them as everyday shorts and they are super conferrable to wear anywhere especially to the movie theater or anyplace where I'm gonna be sitting for a long period of time

Fit is great. Previous tri shorts faded. Hope these shorts are better

I love these shorts. I now have 3 pair. I wear them as my promary bike shorts because I had over padded shorts. I wear them for my triathlons as well. I just did the Pacific Coast Triathlon last weekend and they worked great. I also ear them under shorts for Mountain and Grave riding.
