Excellent Jacket
This is a light, comfortable jacket doing a great job blocking the wind; keeping me warm on cooler, fall days - 50+ - 60+ degrees with a just short or long sleeve jersey underneath. The collar is awesome: not too tight but also not too lax around the neck providing cover in a personally sensitive area. I am 5'7", 160 lbs. with a 40" chest and 32" waist. The medium is a perfect fit: not baggy but also not too tight with very little flapping in the wind at higher speeds (e.g. 19-24 mph) - club fit is a good description. I agree with other reviewers that the cuffs are tighter than usual though it has not been a struggle personally to put the jacket on/off (I wear a XL PI glove). However, at this price point I do think a wider cuff with Velcro closures or better quality elastic would be an improvement. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket.

Perfect Jacket
I'm over weight so finding cycling gear that fits is almost impossible since every other brand runs two sizes smaller. Pearl Izumi is the only one that runs true to size. I bought a 3XL thinking it may run small, but it actually fits a little big, but not an issue. It's been my go to jacket for the early summer morning rides.

Pacific NW essential
The arrival of Spring and the time change has expanded the riding window but in Washingtom spring also brings weather that can't make up its mind. This packable jacket is the solution to stay comfortable in windy/wet conditions. It breaks the wind well without getting stuffy due to the venting along the back. Although only water resistant, it holds up decent to a light drizzle or water coming off the road after a a rain shower. The 3 zip pockets are a nice size plus it folds down into one with a velcro strap to be able to strap it to a top tube. It converts easily into the vest which is a great in between layer. The new line of this jacket also includes more subtle colors from the glow in the dark green&yellow neons, making this jacket an easy grab for casual attire to when a light layer is needed. Only critique is, like with most cycling gear, the sizing doesnt translate well to normal clothing. I'm a bigger guy and consistently wear XL tops. I'm glad I had a chance to try on the XL version in a local shop and glad I did because it was not big enough.

Nice lightweight jacket.
Both my husband and I own 2 of the neon yellow jackets. I bought Mens because I wanted a loose roomy simple jacket. The top and bottom zippers are a must for biking, I also like the elastic cuffs so sleeves can easily be pushed up. This is a great jacket for in-between weather and has good underarm ventilation. We sized up so there is plenty of room for layers in colder temps.

Excellent Lightweight Jacket
Very nice jacket, provides very good wind blocking but still seems breathable enough to let sweat/moisture out. Fit is 'club', not blousy, but not form fitting. Sleeves have enough room for a thermal jersey underneath. I would say it's 'spray resistant', worked well in drizzle/fog.
Actually has 5 pockets, two front handwarmer zipper pockets, two deep inside pockets, and a back zipper pocket. The pockets are mesh, which may not be to everyone's taste, but don't add additional layers of cloth. The color is very bright and the removable sleeves are a plus. Only negative is that the elastic at the wrists is not that stretchy and makes it hard to get off over gloves.

Quest Barrier Convertible Jacket
I ride in southern California where it can be very cold in the morning and temps can change wildly. 30's-60's over rhe course of the ride. This jacket lets me shed layers and keeps everything compact as it comes off. I am usually hot, but this jacket works our really well for me in a lot of conditions.

Sizing in this case is true. I am a bigger rider and it seems their jackets and jerseys seem to run small, not this jacket, it is truly to size and amlittle room to spare as well.

True to Size
I am 6'1" & 205lbs. I purchased the high viz color. I usually wear an x-large & this fit fine. I had plenty of room to wear several layers underneath when riding in 35-40 degree weather. Never got too hot since it breathes well. I recommend it

Fat fit
Jacket much shorter and wider than other PI products labeled with the same size.

Too short, too wide

Great jacket!
I started cycling again so I wanted a yellow jacket to be scene by motorist and it really works here in San Francisco. I feel much safer as drivers hold up and wave me thru all the time. On top of that, this convertible jacket/vest is far better and more durable than I imagined it could be. I ride my mtb thru the streets on the way to the trails and when I get warm I easily unzip the sleeves and store them in the back pocket. The vest back is mesh for additional cooling. As a new mtb rider, I've fallen quite a lot, but surprisingly have not damaged the jacket yet and most of the dirt washes off in the machine. It's also very water resistant. I did go up a size large, but even tho the sleeves are a tad long for my 33" arms and the body is not fitted, it doesn't feel baggy at all. It is maybe 1/3 to 1/2 oversized. I'm 5'8 and 165#, average/slim build with sightly long arms, normally a medium, but I got a large. I love it so much that when they went on sale I bought another yellow one for a spare and also a black one for golf. It's light, not clingy, doesn't hinder my swing at all and yet doesn't feel baggy. It's one of my favorite jackets of all time! An XC rider or roadie would probably want a closer fit so their normal size might be better.

favorite windbreaker
Easily the best windbreaker I have had for biking as it is easy to zip off/ or on sleeves and store within the jacket. Great quality and sizing is true.
