The full carbon frame and interchangeable 504 watt-hour battery is lightweight compared to other bikes with larger batteries but it's fast and can be easily swapped for a fresh one for even longer days. Its mixed wheel size gives riders the added traction and roll-over confidence of a 29" wheel in front and the moderate chainstay length (445 mm) of a 27.5" rear wheel to provide an easy to handle, snappy bike on demanding trails. There was no sacrifice to the Heckler's standard geometry to keep its characteristic precise and agile. The Shimano EP8 motor is lighter than the previous unit (380 g), has more power (85 nm vs. 75 nm), smaller volume (-10%) for greater ground clearance, less drag, more heat resistant, and turned to give more power in "Trail Mode". This means that it's even more capable of tackling longer, tougher rides. This bike is built for the trials of true mountain biking. Shimano electronics were chosen for their refinement, and reliability while quality pivot hardware, easily replaceable radial bearings and no-nonsense internal cabling were considered with the mechanic in mind.
