I have no issues with the product itself. It's great and works as expected. However, when it came to installation, the instructions that come with the product compared to that online are different from each other. The assembly of the product to the fit kit itself was fine. It was the assembly of the foot pack to my car that was slightly confusing. I would recommend downloading the instructions from their website as it seems to be more current and clear compared to those that come in the box. As for the "ergonomic torque limiter key," the instructions say it's supposed to click twice to inform me that my rack was tightened completely. I did not experience any clicking and didn't want to strip the tool or the head of the bolt, so I tightened the foot pack to where I felt the rack was securely installed without damaging the product or my car.

My car was bare roof and needed bars for my new kayak. Product is very well made. Instructions are correct but I would not have been able install without video help. Once I watched the video it was easy and I was able to assemble and install by myself.

I installed the Evo Clamps on a Pro Bar on my brand new 2022 Prius. It was a snap! Hardest thing was finding the middle of the bar to get everything centered. Did watch afew installation videos, but really did not need to. Loaded my kayaks the next day! I?m 72 years female and still having fun.

Mounting was easy once we got the hang of the system. I suggest loosening the clamp screws as much as possible right up front when mounting. At the same time, my goodness... it is really not cool to charge an additional $70 CAD for locks! Value proposition is very low on the EVO system, and THULE roof products overall. Disappointing!

Thule makes awesome roof racks. Fits my older aeroblade bars. Needed new feet because I got a new car with a different roof (i.e. no raised roof bar stock)

Took 30 mins to install with the Kit and it's super sturdy!

Plus it looks cool :)

I needed to buy the clamps and the bars. When I looked into the website, always the pictures showed the bar, so I thought I was buying both clamps and bars... I was on schedule, as I needed this for a trip... It was confusing and I ended buying an incomplete product. You should be more specific en the pictures and description for the products. I'm completly insatisfied

I'm happy with the Thule Clamp Evo (and cross bars). I installed a cargo box and will take them on their first road trip this week. The Clamp Evo could have been very easy to install, except it wasn't. It took me 4 times as long, mainly because there's something they don't tell you: you must place the bar *before* tightening the clamps. Otherwise, they come loose. Over, and over, and over again. Instruction leaflet is not the best. I understand they use graphics only as a 'universal language', but if you're going to do that, do it right (like your compatriots at IKEA). The diagrams are way too small. This is a Thule thing; I've purchased other products and found the same problem. I wish they would spend a few more kronor printing better instructions; or include a URL or QR code and have an instructional video online.

It?s pretty scummy to have customers buy 3 separate items that are all $150+ for one simple roof rack system - especially when the website says very little about needling to have these different components. I do think the products are quality, but I can find the same quality for a quarter of the price.

I installed the Evo Clamp and square bars on a 16? Ford Edge smooth roof. The system was incredibly user friendly and easy to install and mount a roof rack on. Rock solid after a 12 hr road trip. Another amazing product from Thule!

We put the Motion X rack on our car so our surf adventures would be easier and more frequent. It has made just that happen. Installation was easy enough and with the straps we bought at the local surf shop it is easy to get the boards on and go. Love the racks!
