With safety as my highest priority, I choose this helmet, ARO5, from Oakley. I bought a medium size and it was very easy to fit and adjust on my head. It is very comfortable to wear with very good ventilation. The Safety Yellow is a gorgeous colour, more important, it is visible on a long distance. It came with an extra soft sweatband pad for the front head which efficiently absorbs sweat. This helmet has BOA adjustment system to adjust the fit correctly, and MIPS, the Swedish Brain Protection System adding protection against rotational motion. I started with buying one ARO5 helmet to try out. Fell in love with it and now I have now equipped my 3 boys with the same helmets and head protection. As I see it - a very good investment in both safety and comfort.

The ARO5 comes with a “dustbag” for storage, which allowed the helmets to dry while being protected for scratches etc.

I wear my ARO5 together with “Pearl Izumi Transfer Lite Skull Cap” to avoid itchy bugs access to my scalp through the vents.
