Great Helmet
I really appreciate the more specific size options for kids. I've found that other helmets have more of a "one-size-fit-all" approach that results in ill-fitting for most people. These helmets allow a more precise fit which I believe make them much safer for kiddos.

Mips for kids could be
Mips for kids could be the difference of walking away unscathed and riding again the next day. I'd suggest Wilder jr for any kids sub 5 years old. Who want to have a good fit and look.

Great helmet
Bought this Helmet for my 7 year old. She says it's more comfortable than her old helmet. Luckily she hasn't tested its durability but I assume it keeps her head safe. Looks great too.

Saved my kid's melon
Bought this helmet for my 4 y/o son when we got him a new bike. Within a month, he lost lost control going down a slight hill, causing a significant crash. He hit the back of his head on the pavement. The helmet covers the back of the head and protected him from a serious injury. The shell was damaged and the foam cracked through, showing how hard of a hit it was, but my son was completely unharmed. After seeing how well it protected him, I did not hesitate ordering the same helmet to replace it!
Aside from the crash, you are able to adjust the straps to get them fitted properly and you can easily dial in the fit, which also contributes to the safety.

Great helmet
Love the fit on my girls. Love that I can see them easy when they are up in front because it's such a great color pink.

Won't Exchange
We were disappointed in Smith for this helmet. We ordered it and despite measuring our son's head, we found the helmet was too small. We never thought we would need to order an adult size ON A 5 YEAR OLD! We asked to exchange the helmet but were told by Smith that they do not allow exchanges on e-commerce orders. Very disappointing. Stuck with a helmet that doesn't fit.
