Ice build up
Use these beauts on my fatbike. Big fan of the foot landing and grip. I pulled the pins on one side to avoid extra chance of pins destroying my shins. Jury is still out if the hassle of finding the pin side is worth it. I wanted to write this review to see if anyone else has experienced ice build up across the pedal axle during a winter snow ride. My foot arches up over the ice and my pin grip feels compromised. Is there something i can do to avoid the ice build up? Once it was there it wasnt coming off until i got the bike indoors.

Love them
I ride them on my BMX bike and they are great. I grind on them, I catch tailwhips with them, etc. I abuse the heck out of them and my feet stay glued to the pedals when it matters most.

By far best flat pedals you can buy!
These are the best mtb flat pedals. They are affordable, light, strong, and have some of the best grip I've felt after riding multiple different pedals back to back. Don't let the nylon pedals scare you away, I bought a bike from a guy who bought blue Chester pedals on day one and rode them for 5 years then I put another 2 on that same pair and other than a slightly bent peg from a hard hit on a rock the pedals held up perfectly the nylon, the bearing's and all. If you are looking for a sturdy, well priced, grippy and cool looking flat pedal I fully recommend these.
