Awesome concept
I have been searching for this for years and almost built something like this myself with some steel tubing. Thule needs to add some additional strength into the bar when locking it down. I can tear mine out at anytime after I have locked it down and tightened as much as possible. The attachment I require for my full suspension doesn?t work properly so I had to take it off and utilize an old trusted method of locking bikes down. I look forward to seeing this further develop.

Great Rack
I have been using this rack in the Arizona sun for about 5 years. It is great and works perfectly. I like the idea that our expensive mountain bikes are in the bed of our truck, not on a hitch or roof rack. Certainly more protected here. I would certainly purchase this rack again if I needed to.

Sturdy bed option
I use this mount in my Avalanche. I had to do some creative thinking in order to get this mount to work with my truck bed as it is not wide enough up top. I had to turn it sideways and mount within the bed using the plastic sidewalls of the bed liner and it's indentations to properly secure. Once I did this, the mount works great, I never have to take it out if I want to install the trucks factory tonneau cover.

very simple and effective, could use better thru axle system had to buy adapters which are like $75 each and they increase the height quite a bit leading to some clearance issues

Works but limited
Unit comes with three lock cylinders, which require two different keys. Easy to configure. Can work with fork blocks at either vertical or horizontal orientation, unless you have disc brakes. Quick and easy to install once configured. Goes anywhere on the top rail, the length of the bed, including over stake pockets.
CAUTION: if your locking skewers are not tight enough when empty, they can be disassembled and removed from the blocks without a key.
