Very disappointing. I have 3 pairs of shorts/pants in my closet from Columbia. All are a size 8 which fit me perfectly. I ordered these pants in a size 8. They were incredibly tight and uncomfortably short in the rise. I considered an exchange for a larger size but read that there is no exchange policy. One must return the first purchase and basically restart the purchase process again. As Columbia charges $6.00 in shipping costs, I did not want to risk another sizing inconsistency.
It is bothersome to me that Columbia assumes no responsibility for sizing inconsistencies. There was nothing on the Columbia website leading me to believe that the sizing was small and to order a larger size. (I had seen this on the Columbia website before for some of their tunic tops.) It is equally irritating that I was charged a $6.00 shipping cost to return these pants. The lack of an exchange policy is beyond unbelievable.
All of the above reflect poorly on Columbia's customer service standards. I believe that in cases of a product misrepresentation (sizing in this case), Columbia should, at a minimum, waive the return shipping costs. Additionally, they should implement an exchange policy to facilitate returns.

I want to love these pants so bad! They're super cute, a great fit (mostly), nice and comfy (mostly), but have a fatal flaw. The rise is just a little too low, which makes the front part between the waistband and crotch fit weird, it bunches there and looks really awkward, and threatens to give me a front-wedgie (NOT comfy). I tried them on a few times over a couple of days, hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as I remembered, but sadly every time it was. I can't wear them in public and must return them. So bummed! Lots of good reviews though, so maybe it's just my body type (5'1", 125 lbs, size small)

Comfortable fit. I wear a 6 short at Old Navy and the 8 short fits just right for this pant. The waist rise is mid to low. Buying again since I wore the last pair out.

Look great. Can wear them to work or out for them evening with a nice top or blouse. Comes in tasteful easy on the eye colors. I have them in almost every color. Finding pants that fit and look good are a necessity to any wardrobe. These pants fit the bill for me! Try them and if you like them, buy more.

These pants must have been sized wrong. They hung 3 inches on the floor and I'm 5'7. In the photo they were ankle length.???

Great pair of pants they fit comfy, it was a waist band that snugs your belly. I like the depth of the pockets and enjoy how they don't past my feet. It has a stretchy material, it true to size.
