I have like 10 of these for my daily base layer as a ski patroller and for backcountry sports. Size up for a roomier "beach" fit.

Very lightweight and packable layer. Makes for a decent base layer under rain coat or fleece on mild days. Only drawback, but is such with all materials like this, is it is easy to damage.

Echo Hoodie: OR's Echo Hoodie base is 2nd to none IMO. I use it from summer to winter in all conditions, and pair it with OR's other excellent offerings for varied conditions (Vigor Fleece, Superstrand Hoodie, Ascentshell stuff, etc.). All excellent products, albeit with fitment issues at times if you have broad shoulders, chest and arms. That being said, I was excited to see the product offered in a color I could use for work!

Camo Pattern: Unfortunately, OR messed up the Loden version by including depictions of male anatomy in the camo pattern. If you see it, you see it. If you don't, don't look too hard 'cause you won't be able to unsee it.

Customer Service: I unfortunately didn't notice the strange pattern design until I placed the order. I called CS immediately after placing the order and was told OR doesn't do order cancellations.

Historically OR CS has been PHENOMENAL. Don't know if there was just a policy change recently, or if I got ahold of a bad rep.

Either way, I'm still a customer because of OR's awesome products and previous good experiences,this one was just a bit of a bummer. SO CLOSE on the product too... I'll just have to endure some teasing from my teammates and call it there I suppose.

Oh well... Maybe OR will come out with a solid colored Loden Echo Hoodie sometime down the road that I can use for work and let me T&E it (hint, hint haha)

Very comfortable next-to-skin gear that provides lightweight warm with breathability. My go-to piece for travel as it is easy to care for and takes little room, and I don't have to worry about the seams when carrying a pack.

Nothing even comes close to the Echo Hoodie. I've tried others, tried to save money but ended up wasting it. In how they feel, keep up with your activity and still outlast you. I still have my original grey one that I work in my engine room with. It's beat but still keep delivering. I even wear them when SCUBA diving and swimming. I literally live in these things.
I'll take another!

I own 6 of these and wear one any time I'm out in the sun all day. Pefect alternative to sunscreen. They breath in hot weather and wick moisture. I didn't appreciate how well these keep me comfortable in hot weather until I wore a regular tshirt or even other 'performance' clothing, then went back to the echo. Among my favorite OR pieces.

It's a miracle shirt. As a casual hiker/backpacker and tourist I've worn for sun protection, snorkeling, hot jungles, light rain and even in cooler weather. It dries faster than any shirt I've ever had, stays relatively cool in hot humid jungles, protects you from sun and keeps some warmth in cooler weather. Worn for many days on occasion and doesn't stink much from Aruba, Mexico, Florida to the Smokies. I have seven now and will buy more. DO NOT CHANGE A THING PLEASE!!!

I wasn't expecting to like this shirt as much as I do! I just missed having a henley shirt, but its extra level of comfort and warmth was unexpected and highly welcomed! I will be ordering another color. I am 6'1 and 220, L worked great for me.

I'm so happy with this purchase. The fit is perfect and it is sooo comfortable. I use it as a baselayer during the colder months and as a top layer during the warmer months. I'm a happy camper (hiker)!

I wear an echo every time I hike. I live in southern California and hike year round. Never got a sun burn with one of these on. It catches every little breeze and feels really nice.
