I normally take a 44L tailored (not slim) in a jacket; got the XL and it is a good fit. Style is great; pockets are smallish, but OK.
The review asks for your height/build, but not the size jacket you bought - so doesn't provide any real insights.

Everything about this jacket was PERFECT, until I dabbed a small stain on it with nothing but WATER. The dye instantly faded away, but not in a "lived-in" look, as they describe. I mean, as in there's a HUGE COLORLESS STAIN in the middle of my jacket now, unfixable. This is the cheapest thing I've ever seen on such an expensive jacket.

Great looking coat. Definitely keeps you warm but not sweltering in cool weather. Looks great and get plenty of compliments. Could use a little more room in the shoulders. I have very broad shoulders. very happy overall. 5'9" 200 lbs

I bought this for the fall, but tend to wear it well into the winter season because it goes with just about anything you're wearing. Not to mention it does a great job of blocking the wind and keeping the cold out. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone who wants a stylish, high quality coat that gets the job done.

I was LOVING this jacket (Espresso colour). Even posted a review, which I never do, because of how impressed I was. Then I decided to wash it. Followed the instructions, cold water, gentle cycle, hang dry. Even turned inside out and did not use detergent to be extra safe. Came out looking awful, lines and marks randomly all over. Does not look "weathered" or faded or worn as indicated, just looks like its covered in dirt or paint. Very disappointed and hard to see how this is an intended effect as it looks terrible now. Really too bad because this was maybe the best jacket I've owned until washing but now its ruined after only a month of having it. Kuhl should really be more clear about what can happen when washing, this is not "fading" its turning the jacket into a Jackson Pollock painting.

Great jacket. Fits very well. Looks good. Made from durable materials. Fair price. I liked it so much, I went and purchased the Outlaw waxed jacket. Which I like better than my Flint and Tinder one by a fair amount.

I have wanted to get one for a long time, but now I have one its my go to coat. Great fit like an old denim jacket but way better. Super comfortable in a variety of temps and always Kuhl fitting and looking. I get compliments every time I wear it. Do not wait, just get one

Just got my Burr jacket in gunmetal. Really like the color and it fits great, true to size. Tapers in slightly at waist for that tailored look, but still just roomy enough to accommodate some layering. I'm between 5'9" and 5'10" and 170 lbs. with an average build and got the Medium. Looks to be well-made with quality materials. Haven't had a chance to experiment with a wide range of temperatures, but with a good base layer, It feels like it would be good down to the upper 30's, low 40's degree range.

I bought this jacket primarily to wear around town, to work and for casual occasions. It is a bit heavy and bulky for technical use, but seem very well made and it fits the need I bought it for perfectly.

Second.one. Great coat. They are rugged and last forever. Had first one for about ten years.
