Great rain pants with one problem
I wish these had pockets of their own so I did not have to wear slacks underneath in order to have a pocket for keys and such.

Not full zip. They are NOT full zip.
What does full zip mean to North Face? To me, and everyone else, it means the zipper comes apart at the waist so that the entire leg opens. That lets you put the pants on if you have on crampons or skis. That is what I need them for. These are like 95% zip. They are permanently attached at the waist. This is useless to me. They are not full zip. Why do they advertise them as such? The pictures were bad so I could not tell they weren't full zip. They even have "full zip" in the name. I am beyond disappointed in these. Didn't even try them on because what's the point?

Excellent Pants well worth the buy!!
These pants wear surprisingly well for Gore-Tex layers. They also have a reinforced instep for hard wear. Very comfortable and functional. Sized to layer over another pair of pants, but, not too large.

Well worth buying
I work outdoors sometimes in winter with rain and snow, so I need a pair of these pants so that I can work in the home for a long time, and the lightness will not hinder my work efficiency

Fits perfectly over a pair of jeans
Easily fits over a pair of jeans for lightweight rain wear to take hiking. Does not unzip at the waist, meaning you should take off your shoes to put them on. Would be nicer if they separated the entire length of the leg and at the waist.

Odd sizing, couldn't use
Sizing in pants rise was way off -- would need to wear with waistband below hip (or suffer serious wedgie). Had to return and go with another brand.
