This coat is perfect for down to max -10 C (14 F) and for rainy cool days. It's well insulated inside lining makes it a good mid-temp mild winter parka, and the rain/wind resistant outer is good. I live in Alberta Canada so use it mostly in the shoulder seasons, or if we get some mild winter days. But I would not wear on very cold days. The deep pockets are great. I have it in gold/mustard and lots of complements.
My only complaint is is the material around the face/collar is very rough against my face. They didn't put a liner/fleece around the collar so it's stiff/uncomfortable when fully zipped up. I ended up buying some micro fleece material and fabric 'gluing' it to the inside of the collar which has worked fairly well. I think for the price FR should consider making this upgrade.

I bought this jacket after what seemed like months of research prior to our trip to Europe and the UK during Dec/Jan. it had been the best investment I've ever made! I've worn it every single day with a thermal top and hoodie and have been snug as a big! Even during a consistent downpour in Brussels I remained warm and dry. I had to air it out overnight as the fur collar got quite damp as for the external pockets. It is a great wind blocker and the pockets are so useful. Id pack a small drink bottle snacks lip balm lollies beanie gloves glasses wallet phone passport etc into each of the several pockets even purchase during the day with no problem at all. I had a few problems with the double zipper particularly when stepping out into the cold and having to try and zip up quickly but once you get the hang of it it's a breeze! Surviving temps of -10 during the day so far! The good is amazing and can zip right up to hide your face and head keeping you quite snug. The fur can prevent good vision at tones so you need to turn your head fullly to make sure you can see everything otherwise this jacket has been a very good purchase. It was $850 in the Melbourne store as I didn't want to buy online in the event it didn't fit. Would highly recommend!

I miss the old version!
I purchased this jacket back in 2019 and I loved it so much and the only reason I ended up returning it is because I couldn't afford it at that time.
Fast forward to now and I'm able to afford it but this new and improved version is not really my cup of tea.
I hate hate hate hate hate how the drawstring at the waist only draws in the inside of the jacket and not the outside so it is accentuates my waist at the front but the back of the jacket sticks out and looks frumpy and makes me look super wide and for someone that it's already really tall and curvy. It's not a good look .
The jacket also seems a lot lighter which can be good but it also seems less warm as well. I liked the weightiness of the old version.
The fit is also different whereas the old version had a smarter fit and looked more fashionable. This one looks pretty frumpy.
Debating on returning it and hunting down the old version Secondhand or something.

A plus though is that it is super warm is it as warm as the old one I don't know but it's super warm and versatile with the millions of pockets and the fact that it's waterproof and can have several layers underneath because the arms of the jacket are not super skinny Like other parkas

Bought this for my wife who is 5'7" tall and of heavier build. Normally she is an XL size wise. This jacket has Great construction and style, however size XXL was way too small seemed more like a size large. While it was long enough it was not wide enough in the shoulders or waste to zip or even snap it up.

Overall a good looking coat but the arms are too long for me. I wish the sleeve ends had elastic as the snaps that adjust to two sizes just don't really work functionally. If I tighten it to the smaller snap, then I can't get the sleeve on and off my hand. Also, the zipper rubs on my chin, I think because the material is so stiff.

product not as described. This is not a winter coat and does not hold up to the cold weather as described. I am highly disappointed with the purchase, also with lack of responsiveness from customer service regarding the return. I will not be buying again from them

This has been the perfect parka for Minnesota winter (and late autumn and early spring) days. It has been my "go to" jacket for walking - I'm never too warm or too cold. It blocks the wind and moisture. I'd say, depending on what I layer with, I'm good from single digits to the 40's. It's also just getting more comfortable over time. Can't recommend it enough!

This is my go to everyday jacket for Spring and Fall rain. The outer is waxable, and the insulation is light but warm. It does fit a bit close to body, so go up a size if you want the option to add heavier layers and wear as a winter jacket in milder climates.

Warm, pockets galore, nice hood, good fit! Bad: the zipper is obnoxious - pic #13 in the product photos is not exaggerating. It's really hard to get the zipper teeth to meet properly so you can start zipping it up. I checked multiple coats on the rack where I bought it, all the same. Another customer saw me checking them out and said "I have one, so warm!" but when I mentioned the zipper issue she said she "felt validated". There's snap closures on the front, but for $500 this design flaw is a surprise. I hope I don't regret the purchase; I needed a coat good to at least -20F and this is otherwise excellent.

I *love* this jacket. It's water resistant, warm but not too hot, has great zippered pockets, and looks so cute. But the zipper is horrible. Idk if I just got a dud, but the dual zipper mechanism for some reason makes it impossible to zipper easily. I need to manually line up the two zippers and fit it in at the perfect angle for it to work. Super frustrating for an expensive jacket.
