Great quality and very warm! It has kept me perfectly warm and blocked out ALL wind in during this cold New England winter. Plus this coat is so pretty and flattering! I originally ordered the large and was a bit too big for me so I returned and got a medium and the fit is perfect. I am 5'9" 155 lbs. I will be wearing this coat for years to come.

After much research, trial and error, finally found the perfect parka for me. From first donning the Ukon and feeling the comfy embrace of the insulated sleeves, to hunkering my face down inside the neck to avoid the frigid wind, this parka truly delivers. I'm 5'2", 100lbs and ordered both the XS and S to find the best fit. Upon measuring, discovered the length of the sleeves, parka and distance between the shoulders to be the same in both parkas; the only difference was in the girth. The XS looked trim and fitted, but that was with the waist adjustment unsinched. I was able to get the same fit with the size S by tightening the waist, allowing for layering, so returned the XS. I was also very pleased with the fabric of the outer shell, as it does not pick up lint, which I noticed on many other jackets.

I'm really glad i went with this jacket. i was worried it would be 'too much' but after being in colder weather with it, omg i was so grateful. i was very warm! Its made with very high quality material. worth every penny. im 5'5", 120lb and I ordered a Medium. i could have gotten a small but i like to layer. Happy with the size i chose.

The parka fits well but won't allow for a thicker second layer. According to my wife, she doesn't need one because the down is plenty warm. It has already proven itself in frigid hockey arenas. She loves the look and functionality as well. A great purchase!

This parka is Kuhl in every way. Bought it for my girlfriend and she loves it. Super warm. Big pockets for gloved hands. And she looks terrific in it too. Highly recommended.

I bought this parka in clearance over the summer for a late January/early February trip to Finnish Lapland, knowing I will likely never wear it again where I live but seriously afraid of the temps I'd be experiencing. It kept me perfectly, toasty warm in -17F temps (-28C) with a 400gm Merino base layer and a heavy wool Nordic sweater mid-layer. I wore similar layers on the bottom, 2 layers of wool socks, and used hand and foot warmers, too). It performed equally well in warmer temps (17F - 32F) without over heating by layering accordingly. It paid for itself the day we went on the SAMPO Ice breaker ship cruise during a significant winter storm with gale force winds, snow, and ice! XL gave me plenty of room for layering. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, 38C.

After a lot of research, I decided on my Kuhl Ukon parka. I could not be more pleased! I am extremely cold natured and my 850 down fill coat was not keeping me warm. This coat is toasty warm no matter the conditions I have faced so far. I sized up because of the size guide led me to believe that would be best for my hips. I don't know that I needed to do that. I have ample room for layering. I am 5'6", 120 pounds and I got a medium. I think a small would definitely have worked. But, the coat is so handsome; it doesn't look bulky. All that to say, get this coat! It's worth it!
