I was looking for a bag to use for travel (work and vacation). This bag truly is amazing. I am 5'2" and it carry's weight really well on my frame. The padded shoulder straps, load lifters, and chest strap really comfortable.

It comes with a laptop sleeve that fits into a separate laptop compartment (which is also for holding a hydration bladder if hiking!). The laptop sleeve is a bit bulky but does really protect my 16" MacBook. The great thing about the sleeve is that it has pockets on it so I can store my tech accessories in it easily.

The main body of the bag is wide open so great for packing cubes and anything else you need to stash. It also has straps on the side and a bungee on the back that really compress the bag down when you aren't using all 30L. That functionality was super important to me so it didn't look super sloppy when not filled to capacity.

It's hard to find anything I don't like about this bag to be honest, especially for the price. It doesn't have a luggage pass thru or a hip belt so I guess those are downsides compared to other travel bags I was looking into but those things weren't deal breakers for me.

My son uses this for middle school and it works great. It is quite spacious inside without being too big of a pack. The separate space for laptop and smaller pocket up front are nice. The water bottle holders can accommodate a good size bottle. No complaints. Great pack.

Only reason I give a 4 star is because the first few days I took it to the gym it got some tiny scratches on the front but I don?t mind since you can barely tell but overall I loved it.
