Great upgrade to Apple
Battery life is the initial reason for looking at garmin and also the more conventional watch looks. For biking, kayaking, and hiking it is much better than Apple. I do miss the phone and text answering option but I still get notifications. Overall very happy.

Poor quality and not a sports watch
I returned the device due to its poor quality and I think that Garmin is not the sport watch that I need. All the watches come with so many sports that I'll never use. I will look for a watch that helps me improve my training and the core sports that I need and not have to pay for the other 50 sports.

Great watch
I upgrade from Fenix 5, complete different watch. It has much more things than the previous watch. Only need to answer a phone. I hope a new version coming with that.

Fenxix 7 does not sync to Blue Tooth on Iphone
Super frustrating....... this is my second watch. Still, no syncing with my iPhone.

No issues with my Apple watches.

Great Watch
I was looking for a round smartwatch that would connect seamlessly with my iPhone. This watch is great. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is the band. I don't like large, clunky watches, so the 7S was a great compromise, but the band was very short. One aspect of the watch I love is the color of the band (graphite) and they don't sell a longer version in this color. They do sell a black longer band, but it looks odd with the watch as it is graphite.

Wanting a smaller face on a watch doesn't mean you have tiny wrists. Other than this one thing, I love the watch. I had to buy an aftermarket band that was close to the graphite color, and it worked out, but the replacement band is not a Garmin product and, as such, isn't as high-end.

Screen is really dim
The watch is a disappointment. It's hard to see most of the actions. The screen is dim and dull. I'm disappointed by the functioning. I haven't been able to use the workout functions and can't track my workout because I can't see the screen.

Solid Watch
The watch and all the functions are great but not to useful since I have a Garmin Edge 1030. There really isn't a reason to have the watch too. I am returning the watch because it lacks a critical feature when I'm riding, voice to text. I didn't want to go back to Apple Watches but their voice to text is needed.

Great watch so far
I replaced a Forerunner and wanted golf functionality. I have only used for running, cycling and kayaking so far, but so far so good. I can't visibly see the benefit of solar charging at this point, but that doesn't mean it's not adding some charge to the battery. I like the more durable construction.
